After the fight, the four of them were escorted to a nearby hospital. They were all put in the same room for some reason. (Y/n) was busy scrolling on her phone, trying to ignore the conversation going on around her.

"Did you sleep Midoriya?" Iida asked, annoying the girl to no end.

Do any of these bastards have an off switch?

"No, not really." he said.

"I figured. Me neither." Todoroki told him.

"Y'know, thinking about that fight now, we really did something pretty amazing." The greenette said.

"Yeah, I agree."

"After everything that happened back there, it kind of feels like a miracle we're even alive. With my leg messed up, I was an easy target. He probably could've killed me if he really wanted to." Midoriya told them.

"Oh my fucking god, I'm trying to sleep! Shut up!" (Y/n) hissed from her bed.

"Ah! I'm sorry (L/n)!" Iida apologized. Midoriya turned towards her, a wary expression on his face, before it was replaced with a look of determination.

"(L/n), I've been meaning to ask you something. About what Stain said in the alleyway, about you ki-" Before he could continue, the hospital room door opened. Two Pro Heroes and a dog man walked in.

"Oh, so the injured kids are awake." One of the heroes said.

"Gran Torino!" Midoriya exclaimed.

"And Manuel too." Iida said.

The hero, now known as Gran Torino turned to Midoriya. "Idiot, I could yell at you for hours right now."

"Y-Yeah. I'm sorry-" the boy was quickly cut off.

"But before I do," The old pro hero turned towards the dog man. "You've got a visitor."

"This is Hosu's chief of police. Kenji Tsuragamae." Iida and Todoroki stood up as Midoriya scrambled to get up.

"No please stay seated, woof." He told Midoriya. (Y/n) looked at them with a deadpan expression. She wasn't budging.

"So, you're the UA students who brought down the hero killer, huh?" The chief asked them.

"We are." Todoroki confirmed.

"Stain has some serious injuries. Severe burns and some broken bones. Right now he's in the hospital under strict guard, woof. Here's a lesson you should've already learned. When quirks became the norm, the police force fought to maintain the status quo. They decided we wouldn't use quirks as weapons. That's when the heroes came in. They could do what we couldn't, if they were licensed of course, woof. It would be impossible for the police to condone the use of deadly quirks. After all, we're here to stop such harm from being done. The only reason that pros can use quirks now is the strict code of ethics that the early heroes chose to abide by. That's why it's against the law for unserdified people to use their quirks to cause injury. Whether you were up against the hero killer or not, none of you had the authority to actually harm the villain. That means the four of you, and your supervisors, Endeavor, Manuel, and Gran Torino, should receive harsh punishment for this gross abuse of your powers."

"Now wait a minute," Todoroki interjected. "If Iida hadn't stepped in, Native would've been murdered. If not for Midoriya, both of them would be dead. No one else even realized that the hero killer was in Hosu. Are you saying we should've just stood there and watched people die?"

"Hang on, Todoroki-" Midoriya said nervously.

"So it's okay to break the law as long as it goes your way?" The chief asked.
