The next two weeks were hell. Why? Because the UA faculty forced (Y/n) to train and shit. Not to mention, the declaration of war from all the other classes at UA. Yeah, that was fun. The boy who walked up to the class and declared war, was a boy with purple gravity defying hair. He went on and on about how some of the students in the other classes didn't get in to the hero course, so they had to settle for General Studies. The other reason she hated the next two weeks was because the school wanted to flaunt their dominance by showing her off like a prize of victory. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
Once the two weeks of hell ended, the Sports Festival began.
Class 1-A was waiting in the... waiting room. (Y/n) was finally allowed to beat those heroes into the ground.
She couldn't wait.
"Hey (Y/n)! Aren't you excited? You get to participate in the Sports Festival!" Pink exclaimed.
She noticed that the self proclaimed 'Bakusquad' had been spending a lot of time with her, no matter how hard she tried to get rid of them, they would always come back.
(Y/n) responded with an eye roll and a scowl.
Idiots. What the hell is wrong with them? Why aren't they afraid of me? I'm pretty sure the rest of the class is.
"Midoriya, (L/n)." Whipping her head towards the person who called her name, (Y/n) saw the pretty boy from the USJ staring at her and Midoriya, AKA Greenie, AKA the guy she has to watch out for because of his relation to All Might, AKA the guy she might have to kill.
"Oh, hey Todoroki." Midoriya greeted nervously. "What's up?"
"From an objective standpoint, I think it's fairly clear that I'm stronger than you two." Todoroki told them matter of a factly.
It made (Y/n) scoff.
"Oh- That's-"
"Just who the fuck do you think you are, pretty boy?" (Y/n) interrupted.
"What?" Todoroki questioned.
"You heard me." She growled. "Honestly, you gotta be real cocky to just waltz in here and say that." With every word she spat, she took a step closer to him, until their faces were inches apart. "But you know what? Assholes like you, who underestimate their opponents, who downplay others power, who think they call all the shots, always fall the hardest. And once they do fall, they realize that there's no one there to help them out. Because karma's a fucking bitch." And with that, she walked out of the waiting room, once again surprising 1-A.
. . . . . . . . . . . .
"Hey! Make some noise, all you rabid sports fans! Get those cameras prepped, media hordes! This year we're bringing you some of the hottest performances in sports festival history, guaranteed! I've only got one question before a we start this show, are you ready? Let me hear ya scream as our students make their way to the main stage!" Present mic announced.
Class 1-A walked out of the waiting room and into the stadium, immediately greeted with the sight of thousands of people in the audience.
Wow, this many people paid to watch children fight each other? Awesome.
"Welcome back to the UA sports festival! Where up-and-coming heroes leave everything on the field as they fight for a chance to achieve worldwide fame and celebrity! This first group are no strangers to the spotlight, you know them from withstanding a villain attack— the dazzling students lighting up your TVs with solid gold skills. The hero course students of class 1-A!"
"I didn't know there would be so many people..." Midoriya said nervously.
"I hope we're still able to give our best performances, even though all these eyes are watching us." Iida told him. "I suppose it's just another aspect of being a hero that we need to get used to."
