Hng another 'It's a date then!' chapter. This ones theme was 'are you bored yet' by wallows ft w/ clairo

This one actually has a longer title but I didn't put it in.

It's called The Seashells on The Deep End//

Mina always wondered what happened in the (h/c) girls head. She was always so closed off, mysterious. However, Mina Ashido wasn't one to give up. What gave her more determination was when the musician didn't push her away, seeming almost content with the time they spent together.

This time wasn't one of them.

Apparently, 1-A's trip tp a recently cleaned Takoba Munipal Beach didn't sit well with her. Mina wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because Todoroki was theorizing with her? ( Or maybe it was because she was in the girls general view. ). Either way, Mina needed to do something about it. What kind of friend was she if she didn't help another friend anyways?

Running up to the former ultimate, Mina pulled the towel covering the (e/c) girls body.

"What the hell Pinky! Stop pulling it!" Mina's attempt was met with harsh resistance. "Noo! You need to bask in the sunlight!" Mina insisted playfully, her tone giggly and unserious. Mina's tugging stopped when (Y/n) had started humming. Iida came up to her and did his hand-chop motion while yelling something about illegal quirk usage.

(Y/n) seemed to ignore the navyette, opting to shut up until he left. Mina wiggled free from her prison.

Mina noticed Midoriya and Uraraka we're making a sandcastle with Iida and Todoroki, once Iida left, Todoroki followed.

"Can you leave me alone?" (Y/n) hissed.

"Nope! Never!" Mina jumped on (Y/n), the (h/c)ette dodged nimbly, making Mina's head collide with the sand. She began coughing out sand, trying to clear the fine powder out of her nostrils and airway. "Why did you come fucking bother me anyways? Don't you and your idiot squad have shit do to? You have so many options and yet you chose to annoy me." (Y/n) questioned, one of her earbuds dangling next to her.

"That's one way to put it," Mina wiped at her nose "but everyone else is off doing there own thing. Plus, collecting seashells gets boring!" Mina huffed, laying next to (Y/n). The girl grunted in response. "Don't you have a calculus exam to study for?" (Y/n) asked, cackling lightly as Mina's face twisted in horror at the realization.

Mina looked through the bag she had brought. It had all the essentials, food, water, sunscreen, sunglasses, knives, power tools, perfume, deodorant, and some tanning bronzer. She had her jacket stuffed at the very bottom, she couldn't even remember why she brought it.

"Why the fuck did you bring a jacket with you Pinky? It's like 96º out here." (Y/n) hissed. Mina huffed. "Well I was gonna go get ice cream for us, but since you're being so mean I g—"

(Y/n) grabbed Mina's wallet, counting the yen Mina had while she had tried to get it out of (Y/n)'s hand. She gave it back to Mina once she had finished. (Y/n) sighed and folded the towel before getting up and stretching. "Hurry the fuck up, I'm not going to babysit you for more than ten minutes."

Mina was confused, what did the girl mean? Babysit her? Mina didn't even need babysitting!

(Y/n) facepalmed, before grabbing onto Mina's wrist. "I'm coming with you, dumbass." She hissed, before Mina nodded, flushing slightly.

Mina led the (h/c) girl to once of the stands near the boardwalk. Mina ordered a mint chocolate chip and a pistachio for herself while (Y/n) ordered a (f/f) ice cream.

While the two waited, Mina grabbed (Y/n)'s hand that was holding her wrist, and held it. Rubbing her thumb on the girls hand. (Y/n) stared blankly for a moment, calm like the waves behind them, before exploding like a tsunami. She quickly ripped her hand out of Mina's grasp, making the line stare at her before she went back to standing next to Mina. "What the fuck was that?" She muttered, seemingly to herself.

"Whoops!" Mina giggled, happy that she got to see (Y/n) so calm, despite the aftermath.

Once they had gotten their ice cream and paid for it, they got back to the beach, Mina noticing Kirishima, Denki, and Jirou staring at her. "What did you guys need?" Mina asked, biting the first scoop of her ice cream like a heathen. "Where's ours?" Jirou hummed, the end of her earphone jacks tied up in little plastic bags as to not get them wet. She was pointing at Mina's ice cream cone.

"Oh, I only got two." Mina stated, taking a bite of the cone.

"WHAT!?" The three of them yelled.

"It was super manly that you wanted to bond with (L/n), but why didn't you get some for all of us?"

"Super not cool Mina! You should've gotten one for mee! It's not a beach trip without ice cream!"

"So you only got one for you and (L/n)!?"

Mina began to sweat, she hadn't thought about her other classmates or if they wanted ice cream. "Sorry guys! I didn't know if you wanted ice cream or not!" She exclaimed, waving her arms around. Thankfully, the trio sighed an disbanded to do their own thing.

Mina had a sudden realization that hit her like a ton of bricks.

She hadn't noticed that (Y/n) was even wearing a swimsuit like everybody else. Sure, it was the school issued swimsuit, but (Y/n) still looked gorgeous!

Rushing over to the musician, Mina quickly sat down.

"You're really plain." She blurted in a panic before running away to go cry at her failures. She had meant to say, "You look really pretty." or, "You're swimsuit's really plain!" but instead she had accidentally insulted the one person that had the chance at not accepting her apology.

"Yaomomo!" Mina cried, visibly startling the taller hero course student. "What did you need Ashido?"

"I accidentally insulted (Y/n)!" She sobbed dramatically.

And so, Momo had spent a good 20 minutes explaining to Mina that (Y/n) most likely didn't even care that Mina had insulted her, making the girl cry even harder.

Mina had eventually distracted herself on something minute and forgotten about it until it was time to go. Until she went back to where the class had set up their communal towel to put her seashells into a container so she wouldn't have to carry it all. She was the (h/c) girl sleeping on her side, towel laying atop her like a blanket.

Mina put her seashells in a glass jar she had found in Uraraka's bag, before taking a piece of paper and scribbling down an apology.

Once everyone had returned to pack their bags, eat and change before finally leaving, Mina was missing a few of her shells and her note was nowhere to be seen.

She didn't really know what to take from today. It was really fun, but she never got to find out if she was forgiven or not...
