After the Cavalry battle, the students were given permission to go eat lunch or participate in the side games. Once (Y/n) dressed her injuries she began walking around in the empty hallways. She was lucky to have found some bandages and disinfectant, otherwise she would've had to stop by the infirmary and actually talk to someone.

And there was no way in hell that was gonna happen.

"The quantum computer in the pill will travel through your blood, until it implants in your brain and it tells you what to do," The musician sang quietly. "It tells you what to do. It's preprogrammed. It's amazing. Speaks to you directly. You behave as-" Her singing was quickly cut off as she bumped into someone. (Y/n) looked up and realized it was The pretty boy Todoroki and Greenie.

"(L/n). I need to talk to you." Todoroki stated. His eyes quickly scanned her figure, and stopped on the bandages on her arm. He stared at them for a few seconds, cold eyes as emotionless as ever.

"Alright. It better not be a booty call though..." She muttered. The girl followed the two as they found a secluded spot to talk. Her and Greenie stood across from Todoroki.

Silence.

...

"So, um, why are we here Todoroki?" Midoriya asked nervously. Next to him, (Y/n) rolled her eyes.

I swear if this really is a booty call-

"I was overwhelmed."

"What?" (Y/n) asked.

"And it made me break the promise I made to myself a long time ago. Iida and Kaminari, Yaoyurozu and Tokoyami, Uraraka. None of them felt it. In that moment, when you stopped me from getting the ten million at the castle, I was the only one who could sense your true power. It reminded me of something, experiencing All Might's quirk." Todoroki told Greenie, ignoring (Y/n)'s question. The musician just scoffed.

"Oh, yeah? Okay... Is that all?" Midoriya wondered.

"I'm saying, the power coming from you felt the same as All Might's."

"Well, no shit dumbass! I haven't even known him as long as you have and I could see that!" The musician growled, extremely irritated. "And anyway, what does any of this have to do with me? Because right now, it seems like you're only focused on Greenie over here. I have no reason to be here."

"A-Actually, it's Midoriya."

"I don't care."

"Midoriya," Todoroki said, trying to get the conversation back on track. "Tell me, are you All Might's secret love child of something?"

(Y/n) and Midoriya froze immediately, while Todoroki waited for his answer.

"Well? Are you?" Todoroki asked impatiently.

"Pfft-" (Y/n) slapped her hand over her mouth, trying to contain her laughter.

She failed.

"Hahahaha! What the fuck?!? That- That's what you got from those two having similar powers? Ho- Holy shit, I thought it might've been some kind of successor bull shit- but that's so much better! Haha- fuck I can't breath-"

"I-I," Midoriya stuttered, clearly surprised by both of their conclusions. "Ah- Todoroki, (Y/n), That's not it at all! Neither of those are true! I mean, I guess I get why you would think that but it's not! Trust me! And anyway, why would either of you even think that about me?"

" 'That's not it at all' is interesting wording. It suggests that there is something going on between you two that you're not supposed to talk about." Midoriya gasped lightly from Todoroki's conclusion. Then, he continued talking. "My father is the hero Endeavor. You must've heard of him. Then you know that he's also the number 2 hero. So if you're connected to the number 1 hero, All Might in some way, that means I have even more reason to beat you."

"And (L/n)," Todoroki finally addressed her. (Y/n) quickly composed herself, staring right back at him. "News has spread about you attending UA, as well as news about your past as a villain. Everyone expects you to be powerful, including him. Your display during the Obstacle Course and Cavalry Battle just proved their assumptions to be correct. But, I know I'm stronger than you. I'll still beat you."

At his words, the girl scoffed again.

"My old man's ambitious. He aims for the top. He used his power to make a name for himself as a hero, but he was never able to best All Might. So the Symbol of Peace is living proof of his failure. He's still at it though, trying to take down All Might, one way or another."

"I'm not really sure where you're going with this... What are you trying to tell us Todoroki?"

"Have you ever heard of... quirk marriages?" Todoroki asked hesitantly. (Y/n) quietly shook her head, while Midoriya stayed completely still. "They became a problem in the first few generations after superpowers became wide spread. There were those who sought out potential mates solely with the intention of creating powerful children. Many people were forced into relationships. They were simply viewed as old fashioned arranged marriages. But clearly, it was unethical. My father not only has a rich history of accomplishments, but plenty of money to throw at his problems. He bought my mothers relatives to get his filthy hands on my mothers quirk. And now he's raising me to usurp All Might. It's so annoying. I refuse to be a tool for that scumbag." Todoroki paused for a second before continuing. "In every memory of my mother, I only see her crying. I remember she called my left side unbearable, before she poured boiling water on my face. The reason I picked a fight with you two was to show my old man what I was capable of doing without having to rely on his damned fire quirk. You see, I'm going to show him I reject his power, and that I can win first place without using it."

(Y/n) stared at the boy in front of her in disbelief. Todoroki's eyes slowly drifted over to her and the burns on her arm.

Well, shit. (Y/n) thought, meeting the boys eyes. Then, Todoroki turned and walked away from them, with Midoriya following him, no doubt about to say some inspirational anime protagonist shit.

As she stood there alone, she suddenly felt something inside of her.

Rage.

Why was she so angry might you ask? Several reasons.

Endeavor, Todoroki's so-called-father.

Quirk Marriages.

and Todoroki's stupidity.

(Y/n) had seen her friends give it their all. She had seen them give it their all, and fail. She watched them die, because their all wasn't enough for that stupid killing game.

And there Todoroki was, only using half of his power, and expecting to win.

It wasn't fair.

Yes, Todoroki has a fire quirk like Endeavor, but does that mean it's Endeavor's fire?

No.

If they were to go by that logic, Todoroki should've dyed his red hair a different color. Endeavor had red hair, like Todoroki. So, obviously the red hair was Enderavor's.

It sounded completely idiotic.

Todoroki's hair is part of him. Not Endeavor, him. And it was the exact same way with his quirk.

So why couldn't he see that?

How long was he planning to keep that shit up?

Only time would tell.

Oh, screw time.

(Y/n) was going to take this into her own hands.
