Dream followed Sapnap down the hallway, and then pulled him into his room before he could escape. 

Nick stared at him, confused.

"Well?"

"Well what..?" Sapnap asked.

"Who does George like?" Dream sighed. "What else would I be asking about?"

"I don't know," Sapnap said.

"Tell me," Dream demanded.

The water to the shower stopped, and both of them moved further into Dream's room. Sapnap crossed his arms.

"Why do you care so much?"

Dream paused. "I uh.... I.... I don't know. He's my bestfriend, I want to know what person he's into."

"Hm," Sapnap looked away.

"You said you'd tell me," He added.

"Don't you think there's a reason he isn't telling you?" Sapnap retorted, making Dream jump slightly.

"I just thought....maybe..." Dream spoke quietly. "maybe he was.... nervous..."

"I'm sorry," Sapnap said in a tired voice. "He's just being difficult."

"It's fine," Dream nodded. "I'll get out of your hair."

"Dream," Sapnap grabbed his arm. "This is the second conversation I've had about this in someone else's room. I am sick of this, whatever this is, because I know I could solve it so easily, but I don't want to overstep and accidentally cause more problems than me 'solving' it would stop."

Dream thought for a moment. "I don't.... I can't understand that, Nick. You have to tell me what you're talking about."

"It's not that easy," He looked down, shaking his head. "Sorry. It's not you."

Dream crossed his arms as Sapnap left the room. His one chance of getting closer to knowing George was slipping away. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Nick, I love him," He said. 

Sapnap turned around. "...What?"

"I-I love him," Dream repeated. 

"You.... you're being serious?" He asked.

Dream looked nervous. "Yeah..."

"Romantically?"

"..Obviously" His face flushed. 

Sapnap smiled widely, hugging Dream and lifting him off the ground slightly. "I knew it! I fucking called it! That's like- one on each day!"

"Okay-okay, I can't- you're breaking my spine-" Dream choked out, patting his back.

"Dream, this is amazing!" Sapnap dropped him. 

"Tsh. How?" He asked. 

"Because-" Sapnap cut himself off, thinking about George's love confession the day before. "Uhm. It doesn't matter."

"So, who does he like? Is it a girl? Is it someone i've met?" Dream continued.

Sapnap shrugged, his eyes darting around.
