"It was nice seeing you," Sapnap said, bowing slightly.

"Oh, likewise," Catherine smiled.

"Well.... ," Sapnap smiled back awkwardly.

"You have my number, yeah?" She asked.

"Mhm." Sapnap watched as her Uber pulled up to the sidewalk. "Is that her?"

Catherine looked at her phone and nodded. "Yeah. I'll text you, or something."

Sapnap waited for the car to drive away before he started his walk home. He'd only brought enough cash for their dinner, and even if he'd had more, taxis were scarce in Florida.

He wondered how Dream and George were. Sapnap pulled his phone out, and noticed there was a twitch notification that Dream was live. Confused, he pressed it, and realized the stream had already ended.

"Oh..." He mumbled, and went to text Dream.

After getting no response for ten minutes, Sapnap was almost home anyways, and put his phone back in his pocket.

It wasn't cold, or warm, just the perfect temperature. Calm wasn't something hard for him to find, and it washed over his tense shoulders with ease. Sapnap felt himself relax as he continued walking, listening intently for any ring tone that could be a text.

Sapnap saw the house before he could get to the driveway, and smiled, thinking of his friends waiting for him inside. The lights were on upstairs, while everything on the first floor seemed pitch black. He entered the house with his spare key, the shadows enveloping him into the darkness.

"Hello?" He called quietly, and no one answered.

A door closed upstairs, but he shrugged it off, turning the kitchen lights on to find a sink full of dishes. Sapnap sighed, pushed up his sleeves, and started washing them. It only took an hour, and he still hadn't seen anything of Dream or George. He thought he'd made enough noise, banging dishes together, but he knew both of them were heavy sleepers at some times.

It started to sprinkle outside, and then thunder cracked loud near the house. Sapnap jogged up the stairs, passing Cat sitting quietly sitting at the top.
