Chapter 14

'what the hell are you thinking Stilinski?!' the guy yelled into his face. 

Stiles looked at the guy shocked. It was a kid from Junior year, probably 16. Stiles just groaned in pain, 'what the hell dude?!' he shouted. 'what gives you the right to date Lydia?' he said still pinning Stiles to the locker. 

'oh because I made her. Of course not you idiot. She likes me. She told me herself.' Stiles said glaring at this guy in disgust. The guy laughed. 'who even are you?' Stiles asked. 'Jake. Junior.' the guy said. 

'well. What the hell do you want with Lydia.' Stiles asked pushing the guy back. 'I want her to be mine and I won't let you get in my way.' he growled. Stiles shook his head, 'well I am sorry dude but I am the father to her baby so I will be getting in the way.' he said smiling. Jake laughed, 'what makes you think you can be a father?' he said said smirking. 

Stiles staggered back slightly as his face fell when Jake said that. I mean it was true...why does he think he can be a dad? Stiles shook his head, stop letting him get into your head Stiles... he thought. Jake just smiled at Stiles, 'you know I'm right.' he said as he started to walk away after saying what he wanted. 

Stiles shook his head as he watched him walk away, It wasn't true. right?

Stiles walked into the cafeteria and sat down at one of the tables. He decided to message Lydia while he waited for his friends to come over.

me (stiles): hey Lydia. 

Lydia: hi :)

Me (stiles): who's that Jake guy?

Lydia: oh he's my friend. Why? Did he say something bad to you?

Me (stiles): no, no. I was just wondering because he said he said you two were friends, I just wanted to check. 

Lydia: ok, that's fine! I am glad he did nothing wrong, just tell me if he does ok? I will talk to him. 

Me (stiles): thanks Lydia :)

Lydia: come over after school? 

Me (stiles): yeah, yeah, I will be there. 

Lydia: great! x

Stiles: bye Lydia, see you soon xx

Stiles closed his phone, sighing. He looked to the side to see his friends coming his way. They all sat by the table, 'hey dude, you ok?' Scott asked him as he sat down. Stiles nodded, 'yeah. I'm good.' he decided not to tell Scott about Jake. Well at least not now. He was going to tell him later because he had to tell his best friend about this. 

'sooo, how are you and Lydia doing?' Jackson asked wiggling his eyebrows at Stiles. Stiles nearly choked, 'huh?' Stiles got to blurt out. 'you and Lydia. You two are together, sooo' Jackson said still smiling with that charming smirk. Stiles looked at Scott shocked, 'you told them?!' he asked loudly, still looking at Scott.

Scott held his hands up in defence as Allison laughed and Stiles looked at her confused, 'seriously what Allison?' he asked annoyed. The girl in front of him just rolled her eyes then looked clear at Stiles, 'you know there are all the rumours right? That you two are dating.' Allison said looking at him with a look like 'you seriously didn't think we knew?' 

Stiles sighed annoyed and nodded, 'whatever. And we only got together 2 days ago but I guess it is going well...' he said starting to smile. They were all smiling at him, 'that's great' Allison said.

Stiles had just arrived at Lydia's and they were both in her bedroom in silence. It was kinda awkward. They got together 2 days ago, why would it be awkward? Stiles broke the silence, 'Allison and Jackson and Scott know we are together, well most of the school does or they think it is just a rumour.' Stiles said laughing slightly.

Lydia smiled, 'yeah. I guessed everyone would.'

Stiles just got home and after thinking about it for like hours, he decided to tell Scott about Jake. He grabbed his phone and called Scott. 

'hey man!' Stiles heard Scott say through the phone after he answered it. 

'hey scott.' Stiles said. 

'so, why'd you call?' 

'I just wanted to tell you something.' Stiles said quietly. 

Scott frowned, 'ok? What's up?' 

'theres this guy...called Jake. He's in Junior year...' 

'yeah?' Scott asked as a question. 

'he slammed me against a locker today and told me that Lydia was his and that I needed to back off...' Scott's eyes winded when he heard that but listened as Stiles continued. 'then I told him I would NOT be backing off, since we are having a baby together and I am her boyfriend. And he just laughed and said that I couldn't be a father...' Stiles said quietly finishing. 

Scott sighed and shook his head, 'dude, listen to me when I tell you ok? You will be an AMAZING dad Stiles. Your kid will love you so much, I can tell. Don't ever doubt that you won't be a good father Stiles because trust me. You will be.' 

Stiles felt tears in his eyes while hearing Scott said that, he wiped them away. 'thanks Scott...I appreciate that...I needed that.' he said smiling sadly. Scott nodded, 'anytime Stiles, its the truth.' Scott said smiling. 

'hey and he is just an asshole. Ignore him and don't let him get into your head.' Stiles nodded when Scott said that, 'yeah...'

'wait, have you told Lydia about all this?' Scott asked. 

Stiles rolled his eyes, knowing that at some point Scott was going to ask that question. 'no I haven't, I asked her who he was and she said that he was her friend and that if he said anything to me, she wanted to know so she could talk to him. And I told her that he didn't...'

'Stiles! She said you can tell her-!'

'yeah Scott I know. But I think that you forgot she is pregnant and she's also a teenager like us. I don't want her to have any more stress than she already has.' Stiles basically shouted. 

Scott nodded, smiling slightly, 'you really care about her don't you?' Scott asked. 

Stiles rolled his eyes, 'no shit sherlock.' Stiles laughed. Scott laughed too, 'yeah, sorry that was a rhetorical question.' 

A/N sorry I haven't updated in a bit, I will try and frequently post now because I like where this story is going- so yeah.
