(Lydia's POV before Stiles came in)

knock knock knock

'Come in!' Lydia yelled as she was plugging in her phone, putting it on charge. It just went dead. She looked back at the door, seeing who was walking in.

It was Jake.

'oh hey Jake.' Lydia said. 'what are you doing here?' she asked frowning slightly. Jake closed the door behind him and sat down next to Lydia on her bed. 'I just wanted to see how you were doing.' he said smiling. Lydia sighed, 'I am good Jake. Thanks for coming over but Stiles is going to be here soon hopefully and I don't want him to think-'

Jake rolled his eyes slightly at that but Lydia didn't see, 'How's the baby?' he asked interrupting her. Lydia was shocked about how he interrupted her like that. Lydia looked at him confused but there was a hint of hardness in her eyes. 'the baby is fine.' She said still looking at him confused, since when did he care about the baby? Jake nodded, 'that's great.'

It was silent then Lydia broke it, 'so uh what's the time? My phone is dead.'

Jake reached behind him and pulled out his phone, looking at the front. 'It is 4:30pm' he said, looking back at Lydia. Lydia nodded slowly as Jake put his phone back into his back pocket of his jeans.

Jake started talking about random stuff: school, Lydia talked about the baby and they just talked about life in general.

Lydia never had a crush on Jake but she can tell he likes her. I mean who can blame him? Lydia thought laughing slightly. Jake frowned at Lydia's laugh, 'what?' he asked starting to smile. Lydia looked at him shocked, knowing she laughed out loud. 'sorry forget it.' she said shaking her head smiling slightly.

Jake smiled and moved closer to her. Lydia frowned. Jake knew she was taken.

'you know...I have felt closer to you...do you feel the same way?' Jake asked smiling flirtatiously. Lydia frowned and started to speak but Jake interrupted her.

'don't give me the crap about Stiles. I know he is the father to your baby but come on. You really think he can be a good dad? I mean look, you said he was supposed to be here soon and look he hasn't shown up! He is a bad boyfriend Lydia and he will be a bad father. But me. I will be a GREAT dad to your baby. And I would be the perfect boyfriend.' he said firmly.

Lydia glared at him, 'n-' she started to say but before she could get a word out, she felt a pair of lips on hers.

(now we are back to where we were)

Lydia's eyes opened wide as she looked to the side as Jake's lips were still on hers. She saw Stiles at the door, his eyes wide open in shock and hurt.

Lydia pulled away and pushed Jake away fast. She stood up quickly and walked to Stiles. 'Stiles, I swear to god it is not what it looks like.' she said quickly. Stiles' heart was breaking, 'yeah. Yeah, sure Lydia.' he said starting to get tears in his eyes. 'so I guess we are done?' Stiles stuttered. Lydia started getting tears in her eyes as well, 'Stiles no! H-He kissed me I- Stiles-'

Stiles shook his head, 'Lydia...I-Its fine...I just...I'm going to go.' he rambled, he ran out of Lydia's room and headed downstairs, Mrs Martin asked him what was wrong but he just ignored her, he couldn't talk to her about it. He got his shoes on as quickly as possible and grabbed his bag. He walked out the house, making sure he closed the door.

With Lydia, she was a mess. She looked back at Jake who was smiling at her as he stood up to go face her, 'you see Lyd-' he started to say. Lydia slapped him across the face, 'you absolute dick.' she said. Jake's mouth was open in shock like a codfish as he put his hand to the slap mark. 'you knew I was with Stiles!' she continued, 'You knew I was taken but you still come up with this crap and ruin my whole relationship! I don't think you understand that I felt happy with Stiles! He made me happy and he would and still IS going to be a great dad! A great dad doesn't come up to the mom and try and steal them from her boyfriend! A great dad would work hard. A great dad would be here and care about the child. A great dad would stay up with the mom for hours, talking about how excited he was. A great dad would do whatever they could to help their child and try and be there for it financially! For goodness sake, Stiles works 2 jobs every few hours and he's 15! What have you done huh?! You just asked how the baby was! For goodness sake Jake, you think you would be a good dad? Stiles will be a great dad and he is a great boyfriend. Much. Much. Better than you, you bastard.' Lydia breathed out as she finished her speech, glad she let the adrenaline out.

Jake was staring at her in shock then he rolled his eyes, 'you are just a stupid 15 year old. You are being a bitch right now.' he said. Lydia's mouth opened wide, 'yes! I am 15! I was already stressed already about everything and now this has happened thanks to you! And I am not a bitch.' she yelled, still really angry.

Jake's face softened slightly, 'Lydia I-'

'shut up. Get the hell out of my house.' she said pointing to the door, glaring at him. 'you better not bother Stiles, me or my baby again, you hear me?!' she yelled. Jake rolled his eyes and headed out the door. 'whatever. You are making a mistake Lydia.' he said as he slammed the door.

Lydia sighed letting the anger out. She sat down on the bed and put her hands to her face, rubbing her face. She felt tears swell up into her eyes. What have I done?

A few seconds later Lydia heard someone come into her room in a rush, she looked up, tears still in her eyes to see her mother there. Once her mom saw her crying, she ran forward to her daughter and pulled her into a hug, 'shhhh' she said slowly as she rubbed Lydia's back softly.

'what happened honey?'

'I-I Jake. H-He kissed me and Stiles saw and I-I didn't want him to kiss me and I didn't k-kiss back but now Stiles is u-upset and it's all my fault a-and I don't know w-what to do mom.' she stuttered out through her sniffles. 'it is NOT your fault Lydia. It's Jakes ok? All you need to do is talk to Stiles and figure this out ok?' Natalie said smiling slightly at her daughter, 'everything will turn out fine in the end. I promise you.' Natalie said firmly.

Little did Lydia know, her mom was absolutely right.
