Unexpected (stydia)

Chapter 25

A/N sorry it is another time skip. The supernatural stuff is going to start happening soon so UH YEah and by the way, I can't really write supernatural stuff so it will be shit but I am going to try so- yeah.

It has now been 6 months and Stiles and Lydia were both 16 now. Benny is now 10 months old and will be turning 1 in 2 months. Stiles and Lydia couldn't believe how fast these months have gone. One second ago Benny was just born and now he is nearly a 1 year old. Benny would probably 5 soon in a blink of an eye.

It was now the 15th of April. Stiles had just turned 16 a week ago and they had a big party. Well yeah, only a few people came: Scott, his dad, Mellissa, Allison, Jackson, Lydia and Benny of course. But it was still a great day for Stiles. He had his family and friends around him and he was just happy about that.

Stiles had just woken up and he checked the time as he sat up. It was 7:25 am. He looked to the side and saw Benny awake, he was standing up, holding the crib/cot (A/N sorry idk lmao) bars for support. He was staring at Stiles. Stiles jumped slightly at seeing him awake. That kid scared him sometimes. Stiles shook his head and rubbed his hands over his face. He looked back to the side and saw Benny reaching for him. Stiles smiled at him and got out of bed with a heave. It was a Friday and Stiles was happy that it was nearly the weekend. He walked over to the crib and picked his son up.

Stiles got Benny ready for the day. He put him down back into his cot after so he could get ready and go to the bathroom and get dressed. He gave Benny his favourite stuffed animal so he could play with it. And then Stiles got ready for the day.

Lydia now obviously had started school again so she couldn't look after Benny when Stiles was at school. What they have done is that they have found a nursery where they could have Benny until they got out of school at the end of the day. Stiles had to drop him off there on the days he had him of course. Usually when he dropped him off, Benny would start crying, he hated going there but it didn't matter how much it broke Stiles and Lydia's hearts, they had to go to school and Benny had to go. It's not like they didn't want to watch him all day and all the days, it is just that if they didn't go to school, 1) they would get into trouble and 2) they still needed to learn and have a future.

7:45 am

I just hope he will go in ok today... Stiles thought as he walked to the kitchen, holding Benny by his side. Seeing his dad there in his uniform. 'morning son' Noah said, smiling as he saw Stiles come in. 'morning dad' Stiles replied as he smiled slightly. He put Benny into his high chair and strapped him in and secured the table onto it. As Stiles walked to the cupboard he looked around and saw his father running a hand over Benny's head smiling at him, 'morning little guy' he said to Benny. Stiles smiled and turned back around and faced the cupboard.

He opened it and grabbed the cheerios' cereal packet. He closed it and walked back to Benny. He opened the cereal packet and poured some onto Benny's tray table thing. Benny loved cheerios' ever since he has been allowed to eat solids. He has been having them every morning with still some formula milk of course in his bottle. Benny started eating the cheerios' as soon as they were on the table. 'he really loves those things, doesn't he?' Noah laughed. 'yep' Stiles said smiling. 'I am gonna head to work then, I'll see you both later.' Noah told his son. Stiles nodded at his father, 'yeah, bye. Have a good day dad.' he said. Noah smiled and walked out.

Stiles sighed and looked back at Benny and remembered he needed to make his milk.

Stiles made the milk with formula and put it in his bottle. Then handed it to Benny and he started drinking it. Benny has now had many mile stone:

1) he has had his first smile

2) teething

3) he has learned how to communicate like when he wants something, for example, he will point at what he wants.

3) and now doing stuff on his own, like drinking his milk on his own and picking up food and eating it himself.

He still hasn't walked or said his first word yet. That was yet to come. But Stiles and Lydia were really proud of him and of how far he has come.

A few minuets later, Stiles now had his breakfast in his hands. It was boring old cereal but it was whatever. He sat down on the kitchen counter, eating his breakfast, keeping an eye on Benny.

Stiles finished his breakfast and jumped down from the counter. Putting his bowl that he just ate out of into the sink. He looked back and looked at Benny who was staring into space, still grabbing cheerios' of his tray. Stiles smiled slightly. At that Benny caught eyes with his father.

'you like those cheerios' Mr?' Stiles asked, smiling. He looked back around at the sink and washed his hands quickly.

'da'

Stiles heard a little voice say something and his back stiffened. He looked back quickly, his eyes widened. 'what did you say?' he asked in shock. 'da' Benny said once again, 'da' he said repeating himself. oh my god Stiles thought as he looked at Benny with his mouth wide open. Probably confusing the hell out of Benny. 'da' Benny said again. Then Stiles realised what just happened. A smile formed on his face and walked forward towards Benny. 'yes! That's me!' he said happily. 'da' Benny said once again, he was just repeating the word over and over. Probably surprised with himself that he said something and seeing his father smiling after he said it, made him feel even better to keep saying it.

Stiles unstrapped Benny from the high chair and picked him up, putting him into his arms and smiling at him. 'that's right buddy! That's me!' he yelled happily, nodding his head. Benny smiled, 'da' he said again. Stiles smiled softly at him and he couldn't really describe how happy he was. His first word was him! Stiles kissed Benny's cheek multiple times which made Benny giggle. He always giggled when someone did that and that just made him even more adorable.

'you just said your first word!' he said happily. 'I'll tell mommy when I get to school and she will be so proud of you.' Stiles smiled at his son.
