Unexpected (stydia)

Chapter 20

A/N hi, so there will be time skips- I hope you are all ok with that since my dumb ass doesn't know what to write in between the years so please be patient with me lol

It has been a day since Benny was born and Stiles had stayed over night at the hospital with Lydia. And now of course, his son. Natalie, Lydia's mom had stayed too while Stiles' dad stayed for a bit then went home. He was overly joyed to have a grandson as was Natalie of course. 

Stiles was sitting in a chair in Lydia's hospital room, holding a sleeping Benny in his arms. He had just given him a bottle and now Benny was sleeping like a baby. Literally. Stiles was smiling at him, he looked up as he heard someone walk in, it was Lydia coming from the bathroom. 'hey' Stiles said smiling at her. Lydia nodded her head and got back into bed. 'you are leaving the hospital today at 2pm, right?' he asked. Lydia nodded, 'yep.' 

Stiles looked down at Benny then looked back at Lydia, 'I have been meaning to talk to you.' he said. Lydia frowned and nodded, 'mhm?' 

'uh, what's Ben's last name going to be?' Stiles asked. Lydia's opened her mouth in thinking then she looked back at Stiles, 'Stilinski of course.' she said, 'duh'. 

Stiles was shocked by her answer, 'are you sure? I mean we aren't married and we are still young and-' he started to say but Lydia interrupted him, 'Stiles. I want him to have your last name.' She said firmly, 'I feel more comfortable with that plus Benny Noah Stilinski sounds better than Benny Noah Martin.' she said. Stiles sighed, smiling slightly. 'fine...if that's alright with you.' he said. Lydia nodded, 'it is fine with me.' she said smiling. 

'fine...Benny Noah Stilinski it is.'

Benny is now 4 months old. It is October, almost Halloween. And Stiles was excited to go trick or treating with Benny for the first time ever. He was making Scott, Lydia and Allison go with him. This was a big deal. It was his sons first Halloween. He had found this costume in the mall when he was out with Lydia and he thought it was absolutely adorable. It was a pumpkin costume.  A PUMPKIN COSTUME and Stiles knew Benny would look adorable in it. 

Stiles: so I got him this!

He sent the picture of the pumpkin costume. 

Lydia: omg, that is adorable. Is that a picture from the site?

Stiles: yep and ikr!

Lydia: you need to come over now and he needs to try it on.

Stiles: lol ok. Be there soon.

Lydia was with Allison and in her room, 'Stiles is coming to dress Ben in his Halloween costume.' she said as she looked back up at Allison. Allison nodded, then looked at Benny who was sat on the bed on his stomach. 

'look at how much weight I have lost!' Lydia said happily. 'I think I am going to be wanting to start school again. I mean I did the first day at sophomore year but I haven't been to school since so-' Lydia said as she looked at Allison who was still staring at Benny. Lydia frowned, 'are you even listening?' she asked. Allison looked at her, 'something about you starting school again right?' she asked. Lydia sighed and nodded, 'yeah.'

'soo, what's wrong with Ben to make you look at him like that?' Lydia asked. Allison smiled, 'nothing. He's just adorable.' she said. Lydia smiled and sat down on the bed. She picked up Benny and sat him in her lap, 'he is really adorable, aren't you?' Lydia said the last bit looked to the side of Benny smiling. She kissed his cheek multiple times. Benny giggled at the touch. Lydia smiled, as did Allison. 

At that moment, Stiles walked in to the room with a bag in his hands. 'I got a costumeee!' he yelled as he walked in. Lydia laughed and stood up, putting Benny in Stiles' arms. Stiles bounced Benny in his arms, smiling at him. Benny giggled again. 

Benny wasn't a really problematic baby. He loved everyone around him. When he first met Scott he vomited all over his shoulder. Scott thought he didn't like him. Benny loves Allison a lot. He just loves everyone around him. And Stiles and Lydia were very lucky. 

'ok. Wow.' Lydia said, holding the tiny costume up into the air. 'This. Is. Absolutely. Adorable.' she said taking a break with each word. 'told you' Stiles smiled at her.

oK SO Lydia and Stiles are just friends right now. They will get back together. SO SORRY ITS BAD, ya'll can leave if you want- lmao
