Unexpected (stydia)

Chapter 35

Stiles gaped at seeing that look on Lydia's face. 'you actually want to do that?!' he asked loudly.

'Stiles- isn't if for the best for him?'

'you are actually serious?' Stiles stared at her in disbelief. Lydia shrugged and looked away.

'no.' Stiles told her, 'no. Absolutely not. What's best for Benny is growing up with his parents. Yeah, we probably won't be around as much but if you want to give him up fine if you think that's what's best for you but I am not Lydia. I love Benny more than anything and I am not and never am going to give him up.' Stiles said his piece. He turned around went to leave Lydia's car. But then he looked back around at her.

'you know I'm right Lydia. I know you love Benny just as much as I do and I know you don't want to do this. Trust me, I get your doubts, I get what you are feeling but what is best for Benny is for his parents to be there. Just think about it because I know that you don't wanna do this. Call me when you wanna talk.' Stiles added this on. He turned back around and opened his side of the car door and stepped out and closed the door behind him. Going back to the lacrosse game.

Lydia knew Stiles was right but she didn't know what to do.

(A/N so, I am skipping Party guessed. I will be making that same day Benny's birthday party but when the events of when loads of people are there and the punch business would be in another party after Benny's party because I don't think a 1 year old's birthday would be that fun to write because it would be really boring and that kind of party is just family and friends as well and why would their be loads of teenagers ya know? So they are going to have a teenage party after that one I guess. Because Lydia needs people there for Peter's plan to work I think? And I also don't think she would put her kid in danger even when she is being controlled and manipulated.)

They all found out that Jackson was this new creature in town, the kanima. It attacked Erica and Derek but when they were in the pool, the creature didn't go in, so it was obviously scared of water. They also found out that someone was controlling Jackson.

Toady was the day of Benny's birthday party. Lydia told Stiles that she wanted to have another party later on, after Benny's party, when he is asleep for anyone to come so they could 'just party' Stiles didn't think anything of it but would change his mind.

Lydia still hadn't decided whether if she wanted to keep Benny or not and Stiles was getting worried. Yeah he knew that if Lydia gave him up that he would have full custody of Benny but he didn't know if he wanted to do this without her but whatever happened he told himself that he would never give Benny up. He couldn't do that plus he knew that he would have help if he had to look after Benny on his own, he just hoped Lydia wouldn't decide the worst. 

Stiles and Scott just put Benny to bed after a tiring day of cake and presents and other stuff that's happened that day. Now as well, Lydia was having another party for everyone to come and that is just what Stiles and Scott 'needed'. Scott and Stiles descended down Lydia's stairs after Benny went to sleep.  

'do you think Jackson is going to come?' Stiles asked Scott as they headed to the kitchen. 'I don't know. I mean he didn't come to Benny's party so-' 

'yeah that's because I didn't want him to come to that, it's not like I want him to come to this one.' Stiles added and interrupted Scott. Scott nodded in response, 'is Allison back yet?' he asked. 

'I don't think so. But now that today has happened and Benny's party is out the way- we should probably tell her what we found.' 

'I am still not completely sure what we found.' 

'I figured out yesterday that it has to do something with water. The kanima is scared of water according to Derek and that all the people that were killed were all on the swim team.' 

'So whoever is controlling the kanima really hates the swim team.' 

'the 2006 swim team, to be exact.' Stiles corrected Scott, 'could be a student from back then, maybe a teacher now, I just don't know who we are missing though. There's something we haven't thought of.' Stiles finished. 

They got to the kitchen and saw that Lydia wasn't in there anymore but saw Allison. 'oh hey guys.' she smiled awkwardly and walked toward them. Scott and Stiles smiled awkwardly back. 'where's lydia?' Stiles questioned Allison. Allison pointed to the backyard door, 'she's out there, I think, probably getting ready for the party I guess.' 

Stiles nodded and headed out the backdoor and saw Lydia, mixing punch. 

punch...

'um, Lydia. Where did the punch come from?' 

Lydia looked into Stiles' direction at hearing him speak. 'I just made it.' she replied.

'in 15 minuets?' Stiles frowned. Lydia shook her head, 'I was making it when it was Benny's party.' she then looked at the punch again. 'Wha-' Stiles dropped his hands to his side out of confusion then heard someone follow in his footsteps, he looked back and saw Allison and Scott walking out. Once they saw what Lydia was doing, they looked at Stiles in confusion. Stiles gave Allison and Scott a look like, 'didn't you know either?' They both shook her head in response. 

Then walked past them and headed back into the house. After watching her walk in, Scott decided to change the subject, 'do you know if Jackson is coming?' he asked Allison. She shrugged, 'I'm not sure...' 

'Well, from the looks of it, no one is coming.' Stiles added on. 'It is a bit early.' Stiles told Stiles. 'yeah, or maybe nobody is coming here because Lydia has turned into the Beacon Hills wack job' 

'well, she wouldn't be the town wack job if it wasn't for us.' Allison spoke. Stiles silently agreed as did Scott. 'I'll get the lacrosse team here.' Scott told them.

Minuets later, people had arrived, loads of them. Scott walked over to Stiles and passed him a glass of punch. Stiles looked down at it uncertainly. Scott knew that Stiles was concerned about Benny if he drank, 'calm down dude, it's punch, not alcohol.' Stiles gave Scott a look when he said that, 'yeah and punch sometimes has alcohol in it.' Stiles told him. 

'okay, even if it does have alcohol. It's not like you would forget about Benny and it's not like you are just gonna faint.' 

Stiles rolled his eyes in response then took a sip of the punch, 'if I do. I am blaming you.' Stiles complained. Stiles then looked to the side and saw Allison looking in their direction. He looked back at Scott, 'are you gonna apologize to Allison or what?' 

'I should apologize for what? I didn't do anything wrong.' 

'Then you should definitely apologize. By saying you have done nothing wrong, you obviously have done something wrong. 

'I'm not apologizing.' 

'is that the full moon speaking?' 

'yeah, probably. But why do you care anyway?' 

'Because something has to go right here. Think about it, we are getting our asses kicked. People are dying. I got my dad fired. You're gonna be held back in school. Lydia wants to give up Benny and hasn't talked to me about it since. I'm still in love with the nut job who is the mother to my kid and then now on top of all that, I have to watch matt the stalker, get Allison and you'll lose her.' Stiles paused. 'I'm gonna stab myself in the face.' 

'don't do that.' Scott told him. 'yeah I know-' Stiles agreed. 

'Jackson's here.' Scott interrupted.

Scott pushed through all the people. 'You guys seen Lydia? You know where Lydia is?' Scott called out to everyone. Scott exhaled, 'where's Lydia...' 

She was gone.

 A/N I am probably going to finish season 2 in the next chapter. Sorry this is kind of short and I am sorry it took me so long to update again. Sorry it makes no sense as well
