[ Swallowed by the darkness ] Delta Akane

Something was wrong with Delta. Ever since he had obtained Diabolos, his personality had changed for the worst must to everyone's dismay. He had become more arrogant, more aggressive. Delta was no longer the same.

"Delta, please..you can't keep on doing this." (Name) pleaded, tugging at the green haired male's jacket. "You were never like this..!"

"Keep your hands off me!" His hand made contact with the girl's cheek. At this realization, Delta's eyes widened, albeit briefly.

"A-Ah.." She held a hand against her cheek, completely ignoring the salty tears that spilled from the corner of her eyes. It stung. She thought at that moment. But that didn't matter to (Name); she wanted Delta to realize his mistake! "P-Please, you'll end up hurt."

Delta clicked his tongue in disgust. He hadn't planned to raise a hand against (Name), despite her being a current annoyance to him.

"You seem troubled." Diabolos spoke in a mocking tone. "Perhaps this girl holds some sort of special significance to you?"

"So what?" The blader narrowed his eyes at the girl's crying form. "I don't care."

Liar.

"Ah, Delta! Do you need someone to train with?" (Name) beamed, inching closer and closer to the male, who had been training arduously for the past hour.

He made eye contact with the girl, studying her expression briefly. There was something about her constant cheerfulness that made Delta feel a little..warm?

"I don't mind." He nodded. If someone were to look a little closer...they would notice Delta's features softening the moment he saw (Name).

"(Name) means nothing to me." Delta spat, turning his back on the girl who he held feelings for.

Liar.

He had been sitting down at the dining hall, alone. He didn't mind though, he preferred being alone.

But a small part of him wished she'd show up then, wearing the biggest smile, asking him if she could eat with him.

There was something pleasant about that feeling.

Liar, liar, liar.

"How amusing." Diabolos cackled. He was mocking Delta once again. "Is that what you truly want?"

"What I truly want is nobody's business." Delta grit his teeth, walking away from the girl that had been begging for him to stay with her. "I'll defeat Aoi Valt and Akaba Aiga. That's all I want."

"I'll join BC Sol." Delta had suddenly spoke up. That had taken (Name) by surprise, as he's always kept to himself.

"Really?" (Name) was overjoyed. "I'm glad you've finally foun--"

"Let's join BC Sol together." He cut her off, making the latter's eyes widen in surprise.

"E-Ehh? I'm not..as good as you Delta." The (H/C)ette frowned, twidling with her own thumbs. "I doubt BC Sol would accept someone like me.."

"You're wrong." He placed a hand on her shoulder. "I've witnessed your abilities myself, there's room for improvement."

"You think so?"

"Yeah." Delta reassured her.

"I'll do my best then, so that we can join BC Sol together." The girl smiled, raising her fist. "We'll be the strongest team!"

"Let's make a promise, (Name)."

"A promise..?" She turned towards Delta, studying his expression with curiosity.

"We'll be together, no matter what." That was the first and only time that (Name) had seen Delta smile.

"Yeah, I promise!" (Name) grinned, feeling a strange warmth bubbling from within her.

Delta, you liar.
