New years would be upon you soon.

Normally, you'd spend the day with your friends from the Beyclub.

This year was a different case now that everyone had gone their separate ways.

So you were all alone, sad; wasn't it?

"I hope next year's much better on me." You sighed, plopping down on the couch at your living room.

You honestly hated feeling lonely, but it was inevitable. You only met those from the Beyclub because Valt had insisted to let you in, otherwise you would've been alone.

They went on and became international bladers, some became owners of their own team, such as Wakiya and Shu . . .

. . . Shu?

You've always had a crush on the albino, he was perhaps one of the most handsome boys back when you attended to the academy.

He was incredibly popular, an amazing blader, part of the Spin Emperors and the Big 5.

Now owner of the New York Bulls.

You stood no chance now.

"I'm so pathetic aren't I? Still pining on a guy like that and on New Years Eve." You clutched your chest while tears freely flowed down your face.

Then you heard a knock; why would anyone come over to your apartment at this time? It was 10PM.

"C-Coming!" You announced, while stumbling towards the door.

Before you opened it, you wiped your tears with the sleeves of your (Color) sweater, hoping it'd erase the evidence.

Then you looked up to see who it was.

"S-S-Shu? W-What are you doing h-here..?"

"I wanted to spend the New Years with you tonight." He bluntly stated.

"W-What m-me? Why not with Valt? He's your best friend..."

He chuckled.

"I see Valt every now and then, but I never get to see you. You're the one that I wanted to see (Name)." He patted your head, before letting himself in just like that.

You simply stood there, stunned by his words.

Then, your lips curved into a big big smile, before you followed right behind him.

This New Years Eve was already looking good!

"Were you crying?" He halted, turning back towards you with a rather stern look.

Of course, you knew that Shu was very observant, but you weren't expecting for him to be THAT observant..

You bit your lip, you just didn't know what to tell him. But you figured he already knew, your eyes were probably puffy from crying.
