Kinsley's POV:
I walk back outside seeing that its pouring rain again. I don't understand how one hour it can be complexity sunny and the next I have to find my umbrella. I never look at the weather app, I like the thrill of seeing the rain come randomly.
I only have two other classes today, but they aren't for another few hours. I'm walking alone in the hallway when my mind trails off to my new Professor. I honestly don't know how I can get myself to go to his classes every Monday and Thursday. I decide to head back to my room and take a breather before My Literary Theory and Criticism class.
I'm not hungry, as usual, but I chug a water just incase I get hungry in the next hour. I walk into my room to see Jess studying.
"Hey Jess"
"Hey Kins"
"Kins?"
"Yeah, Kins get used to it. I like it so you're going to have to deal with me calling you that." I laugh and shrug it off. I go sit on my bed when Jess says "Grey wants to hang out with us tonight."
"Us?" I ask.
"Yeah. You, me, Grey, and Haden." She says confidently.
"I don't know, It doesn't sound like a good idea."
"Think about it, but the answer better be yes because I already told him we are going."
"Jess! Why?"
"You'll be fine, don't be such a downer." Jess says, then returns back to her studying.
I would've been fine if it was just us and Greyson, but seeing Haden I knew there would be tension. I still haven't figured out why he is such a dick all the time. I turn on the TV to pass time in between my classes. I thought about pretending to get sick, but knowing Jess she would probably still make me go.
An hour and a half passes, and I make my way out of the dorm. My class is 14 minutes from my dorm, but I decide to get a coffee on my way there. Haden's café is the opposite direction by 10 minutes, but was his coffee worth it? The longer I took to think about it, the more time I was wasting.
Making a quick decision, I head to the crappy bistro. Ordering my sink water coffee, I headed to class. I got there, and only about 10 people were in the class. I walk to the back of the class where I see a boy and a girl sitting next to each other. They glance over as I sit down. I make direct eye contact with the girl and realize she's the barista from the Coffeeshop.
"Hey, aren't you the girl who dropped the coffee and fell on your arse?" she asks bluntly. Taken back just a little I respond with a nod. "I'm Liv, this is Spence." she says nodding to the boy next to her.
"Kinsley, nice to meet you guys." I say while pulling out my notebook. I don't have another interaction with them throughout class. Once it ends they leave me behind and say their goodbyes.
Hours pass me by like a hummingbird flying. I don't even realize the time until Jess yells at me from the bathroom and tells me we are supposed to be downstairs in 10 minutes. She comes out in a pair of blue jeans, white tank, and a flower cardigan. I already was changed into my clothes and didn't feel like changing. I put on my trusty pair of green converse and stand up.
