Kinsley's POV

Arriving at the airport seemed unreal. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would actually make it to England. I've dreamt about it, sure, but I never thought I'd actually make it to this point. Life back in America was stressful and the days would feel never ending. There is only so much time you can occupy yourself away from your house. I'd continuously ask for late shifts just so I could be away. Everything was better when they were passed out drunk.

Leaving my friends was hard, but they were all fake bitches and would probably forget all about me in college. I break myself out of my thoughts when I see everybody unbuckle and stand up. It's only just hitting me that I've actually achieved my my biggest goal. I grab my carry on and proceed to the start of this new adventure.

I made my way through customs and found myself in front of a Starbucks. Even though I should go get the rest of my bags, I just can't resist getting a coffee. Acting on impulse, I went to the barrista and ordered a grande iced coffee with white mocha and sweet cream. I sipped my coffee and desperately tried to find baggage claim.

I arrived ten minutes later with nobody to help me. My drink was long gone, but I wanted three more. Crowds were packing around the claim to see which bags where theirs. It was hard to see so I desperately shoved my way through. I was caught off guard when I felt a hand gently grab my ass. I immediately turned around, cowering away, when I saw the same 60 year old man from the airplane bathroom.

Not trying to cause a scene I tried walking away. He forcefully grabbed my wrists trapping me helplessly.

"Where do you think you're going princess" he whispered to me.

"Get the fuck away from me you perverted asshole." I whispered-yelled.

"Now that's no way to talk to somebody now is it?" he retorted.

In shock and doing the first thing that comes to my mind, I scream. I scream as loud as my voice will let me. Everybody in baggage claim went silent. All you could hear were the belts rotating in circles. Trying to identify the voice of the scream, their eyes landed on me trapped in the mans hold. Not caring about his bags he bolts. Nobody tried stopping him, not even security. They were too busy checking in on me.

"are you okay?"

"do you need help?"

"did he hurt you?"

The questions didn't stop until I nodded. I made a dash towards the belt after seeing the last of my bags. I desperately tried to get away from their glares. Im only 45 minutes in London and everybody here sees me as the screaming girl. Other than the fact that the man grabbed my ass, everybody felt welcoming.

I grabbed my last bag and made my way outside to my taxi. The skies were scattered with clouds, but the sun broke through and hit my face the second I got out. The taxi ride was long, neither of us dared to break the comfortable silence. I didn't know how long it would take to get to oxford. I occupied myself by looking out the window. I'm still getting used to the whole driving on the Left side of the road thing. It throws me off and I get this weird feeling like the taxi drivers going to crash us into oncoming traffic. My rambling thoughts were broken when my eyes met the university. My god it's gorgeous.

Students are laying out in the grass enjoying time with their friends, but many are just arriving like me. The taxi driver pulls over and I grab my bags, pay, and leave.  I don't know if i'm nervous or really excited, but part of me feels like my parents should be here to watch me. I take in the beauty of my new home, before finding my way to my dorm.

Luckily my dorm was on the 7th floor, but I didn't get my request in enough time to pick out my roommate. I know nothing about her, she could be a furry or even worse... a mass murderer who eats their victims.

Opening up my dorm, I find it empty. The room is much smaller than what it looked like online. It's small but it's really cozy and feels perfect. Luckily for me I can pick the side of the room I want. I made my way to the right side of the dorm and start unpacking the small amount of decor and clothes I could afford to bring overseas.

A few hours pass me by and decide to take a break when I'm halfway done unpacking. I make my way out of my dorm and try to find the library. As I step outside the cool breeze hits my face and sends shivers down my spine. I continue my trec to the library when I look up to see the sun trying hard to fight through the clouds. The long wrestling match ends with the sun cowering away, consuming itself into the clouds.

I advert my attention back to my walking to see everybody staring at me.  I pull out my phone and check to see if there is any leftover chocolate on my face. Nothing was there so why are people glaring at me?

I make my way up to the library doors when I feel a tap on my shoulder.
