(I finally made the mood board hope you all are proud HASOLJAS)
Kinsley's POV:
I wake up on the daybed with the sun shining in through the large windows. The rays cast small shadows around the room. I look over to where Haden was last night, but he was nowhere to be found.
I look around and decide to give up when I can't find him. I go to a small little bookshelf by a staircase and pull out a random book. I make my way back to the daybed and start reading. I get forty pages in when the elevator dings open. I glance over and see Haden walk in with four coffees and different pastry's. I get up at the sight of coffee and walk over to Haden. I sit down on the bar stool and reach for the coffee, but Haden pushes my hand away.
"Wait until Jess and Grey get up."
"But the ice will melt."
"We can put more ice in."
"The water from the ice will mix with the coffee and it will become all watery." I tell him.
"I'm not giving you the coffee."
"So your plan was to torture me?"
"No, but I guess that works too."
"Fine, if you don't give me the coffee I'll just go and buy my own." I say getting out of my chair. I don't give Haden enough time to answer, instead I go to my room to grab my purse. I tie my laces and walk out into the kitchen.
I look over at Haden, but he's facing away from me, now sitting in the stool next to mine. I glance at the counter top and see my coffee in front of the chair. I sit down and take a sip of my coffee.
"Thanks."
"Yeah." it was quiet for a few seconds before I broke it.
"Do you know what we are doing today?"
"It's a surprise."
"I don't like surprises," I look over at him "What are we doing?"
"I'm not giving in. Jess has something planned that she thinks you'd like."
"I'm not giving in." I mimic. Haden sends me a death glare, but instead of cowering away I give him one back. "I'm getting ready." I announce.
I grab my clothes and head into the shower. I take a long hot shower to get rid of all of yesterdays wrongs. I walk out of the grand shower and slip on my bra and shirt. I button up my pants then walk back into my main room. I put on a little bit of jewelry before I go blow dry my hair. I realize I left my coffee out in the kitchen and when I get into the kitchen it's gone.
"Where's my coffee?" I ask Haden.
"I don't know, maybe it crawled away." He says sarcastically.
"Funny, but seriously where is it."
"It ran away, I don't know what to tell you. I watched it press the button to the elevator and everything. I would've asked it to stay, but I realized it tried so hard I just let it go." I give him an unamused look.
