Kinsley's POV:
Haden and I stayed on that bench for what felt like forever. We still haven't heard from Grey and Jess, but Haden told me not to worry about them. I'm currently laying down with my head in his lap. I'm not really how or when it happened but neither of us complained about it.
"I'm bored." I say looking up at him.
"I know, me too." he says looking down.
"Let's do something."
"What?" he asks me.
"I don't know."
"Are you hungry?"
"Not really."
"Do you walk?"
"Sure, but where to?"
"We can go shopping." I sit up and stare at him wide-eyed.
"I'm sorry. You, Haden Kingston, would voluntarily take me shopping."
"Yeah."
"Okay lets go." I say pulling him up off the bench.
"Right now?" he asks, staring down at me.
"Yes, right now." I say pulling Haden's arm as I walk. I don't really know where I'm going, but I continue my walk. Haden pulls me back and turns me around.
"Where are you trying to walk to?" He asks.
"I don't know."
"I can take you down a whole street of shops."
"Okay." I nod. This time he puts his hand on the small of my back and walks behind me. I don't know what clicked in his brain to be nicer to me, but I'm glad it happened. We walk around, not really talking with one another. I took in the scenery around me, the circular shaped buildings, little parks, and everybody moving around under its spell.
"Kinsley?"
"Yeah?" I say looking at him.
"Want to go in here?" he says pointing to a small jewelry shop.
"Sure." I say walking in. I look around at all the gold and silver jewelry. Walking around I couldn't really find anything. Haden walked behind me, occasionally pointing out ones he thought I should get.
"I don't really see anything."
"What about that?" he says pointing at a gold necklace with a small plain circle.
"That's cute," i say looking at it, "but it's kinda pricey."
"Well, do you like it?"
"Yeah, but I don't need it."
"Okay."
"Can we go look at the other shops?" I ask looking at him. He nods in return. We walk into a clothing store, but quickly walk out once we realize a bunch of old ladies were in there.
"That store smelt like a funeral home." Haden remarks. I laugh a little, not really sure how I should respond to it.
"It smelt like overused potpourri." We walked past a little book store and I turn to walk inside. Haden follows behind me throughout the different isles. I turn to the romance isle and pull out 'Me Before You'. I turn the the register, Haden still following behind me. I hand the book over and reach for my wallet. Before I could grab it, a receipt prints and Haden is putting away his wallet.
"Thank you, but you don't have to pay for me."
"It's no big deal." he tells me.
"Well, thanks for the book." I tell him.
