Haden's POV:

Kinsley and I played on the xbox for what felt like hours. I thought I was going to have to die for her to win, but she was actually really good at the game. Grey and Jess walked out of their room and sat down on the couch as we finished our game. Jess sat on top of Kinsley, blocking her view. I noticed she was getting frustrated so I took this as my time to shoot her down.

"Jess move," Kinsley speaks up "I can't see anything with ur head covering the tv."

"Are you saying my head is big?" Jess gasps while grabbing her head.

"No, Jess. Just move please so I can play."

"I'm perfectly comfy."

"Jess, seriously, you're in the way. Grey can you convince your girlfriend to move please?" Kinsley asks

Grey does nothing except shift in his seat to be more comfortable. While this whole encounter was happening I found my way behind Kinsley and shot her in the back of the head.

"What?! See, Jess, you made me loose my winning streak."

"You're welcome." Jess says getting up and walks over to me. I slip her the five bucks I promised her.

"What the Fuck Haden."

"What?" I act, trying to act clueless.

"Did it hurt your ego too much to loose a couple games to a girl."

"No," I say not loosing eye contact. "I just wanted to see you mad."

"Fuck off." She says getting up. She walks into her room and I contemplate following her for a few seconds. My feet force me to get up and they start walking on their own. I knock lightly on her door before entering.

"What?" She asks while sitting on her. bed.

"Are you mad at me? Why did you walk away?"

"Haden, I'm putting on my shoes." She says pointing down at her converse.

"Oh." I say. I walk over to the bag with all the clothes I bought her. "You should wear this tonight."

"But I'm already wearing clothes."

"I see that, but don't get me wrong, your clothes you have on are very nice, but imagine you in this."

"Okay." She says and waits a few seconds."Imagined it. I also Imagined having to take off these clothes, to put on new clothes, and then change out to put on pajamas and that seems like a lot of work. "

"If you don't wear it tonight, wear it tomorrow."

"Okay." She says tying her other shoe. Kinsley gets up past me and walks out of the room, leaving me all alone. I walk out to the kitchen and see Kinsley sitting at the counter on her phone.

"What's wrong with you?" I ask her.

"What do you mean?" She asks turning off her phone and looks at me.

"Something's off." I tell her.

"Nothing's off." Kinsley says while shaking her head.

"Sure, Kinsley."

"Haden, just mind your own business." she tells me.

"Well, you're my guest." I say sitting down next to her "In my house. So, in a way, I'm looking out for you." She looks at me and says nothing. "So, now tell me, what is wrong."

"Nothings wrong Haden." She says. Her phone lights up. Notification after notification makes her phone look like a firework. She looks down at it and then back at me. She tries to grab it quickly, but I was faster.
