Who's the one that lurked around til a chance arose to speak?
Who's the one fighting a mission who needed a quick peak?
Who's the one who plans a future full of life and lust?
Who's the one who heard a whisper then vanished into dust?
The one that had the chance to speak, just closed up suddenly
The one who's on a mission, seems to not have time for me
The future planner documents, hot thoughts of him and I
The one who heard a whisper, is the one for whom I cry
He who moved the goalposts cuts with brutal honesty
He who fights for Justice works on other priorities
He who thinks ahead, like a candle may burn out
He who heard a whisper now no longer hears a shout
The one who shut down, hopefully, will stay a trusted friend
The one distracted, on me, platonically can depend
The one designing, will be plagued with obstacles and doubts
The one who heard the whisper is the one that I'm about
I'm sorry
