Like a pendulum, the swings between your moods
How you hid it well, behind that charm that you exude
You are a conundrum, an undecipherable code
How much did you hide, before the Devil bought your soul?
Feigning your decorum, revealing parts you shouldn't show
Take your dirty picture, just don't let your wife know
Scripted memorandum, the play upon your words
Now I read between the lines, your lexicon is so absurd
Clarify your intention, do you even know the truth?
Now I see a desperate man, clinging to his youth
Stage an intervention, to free you from their grasp
My mission to protect, shattering a heart of glass
Gaining some momentum, always tried my best
I need to tell this story, I need to get it off my chest
You really are a phantom, in the opera of my life
How many of us did you have, behind the back of your poor wife?
Bones of our contention, shadows that we try to escape
Swept under a carpet, every promise, you did break
Gaining comprehension, as I fell out of love Your unsated ego, on a pedestal above
Societal convention, trapped your demons deep inside
You're a weapon of destruction, fake persona helped to hide
Craving my attention, quietening an unfilled need
Creating an illusion, you are not who you claim to be
Skewing my perception, moulding yourself to impress
Such manipulation, so you could make me a conquest
Creating a frustration, make us all appear insane
You are narcissism, personified, as you cause so much pain
Never an admission, of the role that you have played
Run away from friction, deep down you are afraid
In manipulation, satisfying your next whim
Vulnerable creation, sets the chorus of "poor him"
Privacy invasion, abused emotionally
Unfair this equation, between you and them and me
Growing my revulsion, I can no longer quell
One rule for you, so selfish, just serving yourself well
Free from admonishment, you command my respect?
That my friend, died long ago, do not to try to deflect
Escaping punishment, basking in your sun
Now you get what you want after hurting everyone
Perform your entertainment, upon your lighted stage, remember I know your truth, get back in your gilded cage!
Such infatuation, for a spineless, gutless fraud
Thank them all for coming as you feed of their applaud
Harm is not intended, yet it is no less what you deserve
I hope karma lets me watch you fall, this I would happily observe
Damage limitation, as you creep back from the grave
There will not be a next time, I allow you to misbehave
Seeking your salvation, hear the tolling of the bell
Cannot wait to see you burn, when we both meet in Hell
