14: Rabbit.

HOBI'S frowning. He's been facing a 45 caliber gun on the table. Dani orders him to practice. Tomorrow's itinerary will be gun dismantling, assembling and shooting. Since its basic, Dani chose this gun. Very common aside the usual revolver.

He has to dismantle it by himself then assemble it later on. He has never been nor touch a real gun. Movies, certainly and on MV filming. He feels scared having a real gun right now.

He turn his head over Dani. She's been cleaning few of her guns. She's been there dismantling, cleaning and assembling.

"Kim Dani sshi?" He calls.

"Ne?" She quickly give him a glance.

"How long have you've been doing this? I mean this. Guns and stuff?"

She stops, eyeing him." Since I remember." She puts her gun to safe lock before she place it on the side.

"Since you remember?" He moves closer mixture of shock and amazement in his face that reach his eyes. "Then that means since you're a kid?"

She nods clipping her answers once more finishing everything on her tray. "When did you start to dance?" She ask this time. "I've heard you help with the choreography of your group?" Changing the pace of the topic. She find it weird and uncomfortable. She haven't shared her life to other people even Rain.

"Oh." He sits finding comfort on his chair. He  look at her quite intrigued if she really have no idea about them. "Our lives has been an open book. You can search it if you want."

Dani cease her work for the second time around and sits properly. She didn't expect that coming but certainly not insulted. "So you really up to know my life."

He nods liking her reaction. "I do."

A sly smile on her face. "If I tell you do you think you can handle it?" Challenging him. "I'm not living a typical world. You can tell by the house and everything I'm capable to do." She cocks her gun. "Aren't you afraid?" Scaring him a bit.

His eyes nailed into her hands checking if her gun's loaded. "I'll be a damn liar if I tell you that I'm not afraid of you. Having you inside this room alone; you can kill me thousands of ways if you wanted to. And since it never happened..." Eyes back to her." I'm safe."

"Fine." She cocks her gun once more releasing the magazine and put it back into the tray. "It wouldn't be fun if you'll get it for free." Her gaze became sharp and deadly.

He haven't seen that side of her yet. Cold creeps him. He feels like his body's filled with icy cold water. The vibes he got is a lot  differ from those men during the drill and the hackers.

I'll give you until Wednesday morning. Pass at least two tasks then let's see. Of course it depends on your performance." She stand. "Good luck." She leaves out their room leaving him alone.

"Mwoya!!" Raising both his arms. He got goosebumps. "I think I've peed a little." Checking his pants. "That scare me shitless." Running himself to the bathroom.

RAIN's heading her way to Dani's when he notice her getting out their room. She immediately notice him as well and gesture him to go somewhere.

He follows.

"Your mother calls." He informs the moment they secure that they're alone inside the gym. "She wants you to attend the family dinner."

She played her lips thinking. "I'm sure she got something on her sleeve. She won't stop until I'll confirm. Even if we barely had a deeper connection as regular parents does, I always make sure to spare that day for her."

"I don't think it'll be the usual dinner night with all the members of the family agasshi." He takes out a black invitation card with Sakura's logo in it from his coat then handed it to her.
