before they all knew it, they all felt the ground shaking, huge roars of rumbling sounds from the ground emerged

'Wh-What's happening?'

franziska Hollered, gripping onto one of the walls tightly, phoenix stayed low on the floor as bikini shrieked in fear 

'E-Earthquake!'

she screamed out as she ducked into under knees, phoenix's protective instincts took over him as he ran towards franzisiak, holding her close and tight in his arms, hovering over her so something wouldn't hit and injure her badly

'Oh my goodness! The Inner Temple! This kind of tremor might..., The Sacred Cavern in the Training Hall! It might very well cave in!-'

'W-WHAT?!, M-MAYA IS OVER--D-DAMNIT!!'

he yelled out in panic, his anxiety kicking in, but he fought it back as he focused on protecting franziska from anything that could fall on her

it didn't stop for a good 5 minuets, ..and when it finally did, nobody moved, ...all waiting anxiously in case another one hit again randomly, franziska lifted her face from phoenix's chest, looking around, phoenix gently and slowly let her go

'it... It seems to have... passed...'

she Quavered a bit, that's when it hit phoenix hard, ....their was an earthquake...AN EARTHQUAKE, ...which meant-

'we need to leave'

he said hastily, not wanting to use up anymore time here, he'll talk to bikini later about this, right now, he had another top priorty

'the Inner Temple!!, LET'S GO!!'

he yelled, running out, franziska soon realized what he was talking about, and rushed after him

they both ran and ran and ran as fast as they could, everything around them was a blur, everything, before they could even fully make it to the inner temple, he was far more ahead of franziska, miles shot his head up from the ground as he heard in the distance sounds of snow crunching

miles cried out, surprised to see his partner here so soon, ...phoenix frowned as he  got a closer look to him, ..very worried, ...he looked pale, and shaky, on the verge of a panic attack, ..when he saw his silver eyes staring back into his blue ones, ..they were full of guilt and self-loathing, ...to miles, ..he failed his lover

'm-miles, Wh-What are you doing here?!, a-are you okay?'

he asked in a soft, soothing tone, miles shook a little as he tried to regain his composure, ..he gripped his arm tightly as he looked off to his left, ...he couldn't meet him in the eyes, ...not after what he let happen...

"Gurgh... H-How could I have...? i failed-JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE!!"

franziska cried out, getting right to his side, putting away her whip

she reasoned, miles panted a bit as he breathed out in regret

he muttered out, phoenix kept rubbing his back in soothing motions to help him calm down, ...he was more distressed then he was showing, ...he didn't want to make anyone worry, ..or to have anyone see him weak, ...aside from one person..., but only with that one person

miles gasped out, phoenix's eyes widen at him, ...she ran off, ...she ran off

he gritted his teeth as he loathed himself for this, ...now only did he show weakness, he failed his boyfriend, he failed violet and he failed his job to help help serve justice

'their's no excuse for letting the suspect get away... I can't believe I let it happen. phoenix, the Inner Temple area is a dead end, so she only could've escaped to this side'

franziska answered, miles then said hurriedly

'Then we need to get a manhunt underway now, and search Eagle Mountain from top to bottom!'

'wait, Have you thoroughly checked the Inner Temple yet?'

phoenix asked him, miles looked at him as if he was insane

'Sister Bikini said that the Sacred Cavern might've caved in because of the quake, i don't think that iris girl is the type to just run away'

'Then you think Iris might've gone to the Inner Temple to check on the situation...?'

franziska reasoned, he nodded

'she's at the Inner Temple. A manhunt is not necessary, you can bitch at me if i get it wrong, but let's just go for now'

franziska lead the way, phoenix stayed back to walk along side miles, who had his head down the entire time, ...he felt ashamed of himself, ...he failed phoenix so many times in the past, ..and now thanks too him being weak, ...he not only hurt phoenix, ...he now failed to save maya...
