the judge banged down his gavel multiple times as he announced the end of the recess, and the beginning of a new trial

'Now then, before we proceed any further... ...I'm going to announce the results of the tests we had performed earlier, On the bloody dagger that was found stuck in the pine tree'

phoenix quickly took out his notebook as he wrote down every, little detail, anything that he could use could help him, it was the weapon maya had used when she fought with the victim

'that are the results!? Was it the victim's blood?!'

he asked very hastily, the judge shook his head as he explained

'Due to time constraints, a full test wasn't possible. However... There's one thing we can say with certainty. The blood that was on this dagger was not the victim's blood! ...That is all. Now then, let's restart this trial'

the judge then spoke in a more softer tone

'I'm sure both the defense and the prosecution know this, but... ...this trial is rapidly coming to a close. Both sides will need to show some firm evidence with their claim'

phoenix replied, ..he wasn't happy about this, ...he didn't want this, ..but, ..he had no choice but to go along,

phoenix frowned as he held onto his locket, ...he understood what it was like, ..to testify about something like this, ...but at least, she wouldn't be abused like him, ..he was gonna make sure of that

when maya got onto the stand, she held herself back from shaking, ...she never knew that testifying could be so scary, ..and now she had to testify about what happened

'...Witness, please tell us your name and profession'

godot asked of her, ..phoenix was a little taken aback at how, ...calmed he was when he asked, ..at least he was going easy on her, ..but he could tell their was a lot more to it then he was letting on, ...maya frowned as she nervously introduced herself

she replied quietly, phoenix frowned a little, ..she was frightened badly.., the judge looked down at the magazine, then back down at the witness
