miles shivered as he held onto his coat tighter, ..he never understood why phoenix loved the cold so much, even with the stories of him and his mother in the snow, he still couldn't get how someone enjoyed the feeling of shivers down their spin

while he was looking around the mountain view, a voice startled him

'Urk... Detective Gumshoe.'

miles jumped a bit when gumshoe just appeared out of nowhere, gumshoe smiled as he greeted him

'Long time no see! It's been about three months? ...Or has it been longer?'

he asked, looking off to the side, miles sighed as he wondered why he was up here

'It doesn't matter, Detective. What does matter is why you're shuffling around up here'

gumshoe winched as he whined out

'Oh, ouch! ...And there was a sharp left jab!, Well, I'm happy to see you anyway mil-, Mr. Edgeworth!'

gumshoe corrected quickly, ...they hung out a lot outside of work a lot so thought of each other as close friends rather then close work-partners, miles then just guessed why he was up here

'Let me guess... You were transferred into another section at work. A good choice. The vast amount of nothing up here must be quite easy to guard.'

'I heard you were back in the country and arranged to come all the way out here! Everybody was real nice. They even let me take charge of the investigation, sir, i've been worried about you'

he spat out, ...he wanted to know why he hated his phoenix so much, ..and who was he in the first place, gumshoe sighed as he grimly informed him
