as he walked around, trying to figure out what to do, ending up at the Heavenly Hall, that's when he heard a very familiar voice calling out his name

'O-oh, mr nick!!'

phoenix eyes widen as he quickly rushed over to that voice

'Pearl!!'

he cried out in relief, she was okay, pearl eyes teared up as she hugged him around his knees, he gently picked her up in his arms

'don't you ever run off like that ever again!!'

'i-i'm sorry mr nick!'

'it's okay, at least your safe and not hurt, that's all that matters, ..but oysters, why are you out here?'

pearl panicked a bit as she looked off to the side

'-Nothing... What about Mystic Maya!? Is she alright!?'

she asked her, phoenix sighed as he told her the semi-truth

'i'm sorry oyters, We don't know yet'

she frowned as she looked down

he said gently, pearl slowly did as she told as she lifted up her head, meeting his eyes

he grunted out in annoyance, larry got very offended by his reaction as he spat out to him

phoenix eye twitched in anger as he glared daggers into larry's soul, he would normally cuss at the idiot until he started to cry, but right now, pearl was the bigger priority here, and he didn't want to cuss in front of her, seeing how upset phoenix looked, she gently touched his cheek, getting his attention, ..though she still looked very down

phoenix looked down at the drawing, ..if was awful, but he gave her a little grimace, larry then interjected

'We're going to gather firewood now. We'll be cooking some half-rotten potatoes over a miserable little camp fire. So stay out of our way!'

he rudely shouted, phoenix gave him a warning glare to shut his mouth up before he would do it for him by breaking his teeth, like hell he would ever leave this poor innocent little girl in the hands of a STUPID MAN CHILD!!
