'phoenix are you sure your alright?, You still look a little tired..'

miles asked, very concerned, phoenix nodded weakly as put on his fingerless gloves, he was up all night reading over the current case miles did for him, the very first case mia ever worked on, ...and the one he was involved with...,as much as he loved reading, ..it was exhausting going threw all of that.., he only got two hours of sleep last night.., but it was fine, he pulled all nighters before, this wasn't the first time

phoenix already knew dahila was a fucking  phsyco-bitch, nothing new there..,but what surprised was that miles first trial, ..involved dahila, he was against mia, ....and how both of them saw a man die right before their eyes, .., ...he really didn't think he could hate dahila more then he did before, ...he really didn't, gumshoe's voice cut him off from his thoughts

'pal, ..you okay?, you look tired'

'yes i'm fine'

he muttered again as he poured himself a cup of water and started to take his medication for the day, ..miles could tell even phoenix wasn't sure if he was ready for it himself, ....after phoenix took his medication, he spoke too miles first, to thank him for everything

he said in a genuine soft tone, miles smiled a little, but then reminded him that things weren't over 

'We're not in the clear yet. The main point of contention tomorrow is going to be the murder weapon, In the end, the Shichishito did not deliver the deadly blow. Which means there must be another sword hiding out there that we don't know about...'

he said as he passed him his notepad and notebook, giving him everything he needed to know, phoenix made a mental note of that as he accepted the two books and put them into his bag, gumshoe gave him an encouraging smile as he patted his back gently

'Don't you worry about anything, pal! I'll dig up the murder weapon myself, or I'll eat my coat!'

he promised, phoenix just sighed tiredly as he patted his back, thanking him as well for his support and help, then turned his attention back on his boyfriend

'...phoenix, ..are you sure about this?'

'i'm fine, ..really, I can handle things from here'

he promised him, ..he would be okay, ...because now he wasn't alone in this, ...miles smiled at him a little again, ..the most he could do now is help phoenix however he could, ..since he knew when it came to maya, their was nothing that was gonna stop him, n o t h i n g

'Heh... That is probably for the best. Actually, I was thinking about paying the old precinct a little visit. There's something I want to look into...'

he guessed, miles nodded, ..phoenix had already told him about his relationships in the past, ..but never went into details about it, ..all he ever told him was that they were abusive and not healthy, ..and miles never pushed him in details

phoenix frowned as he knew he was putting him up for more work, ..but he didn't want to talk about his past, ..he wasn't proud of it..

miles didn't really care all that much, he cared more about phoenix then anything, ..his boyfriends well-being was top priority

miles gave him a quick kiss on his lips before walking out of the hospital room, gumshoe held back an awe, ..their relationship was so cute!!, and they both really deserved each other!
