Why was thy voice so familiar? My nurse came in front of me and crossed her arm in front of me for protection. "Come in sir." The butler said. "Thank you." "She will be do-. Ah. Here she is." Then the man looked up. It was Zak. My heart began to race. "Hello Miss. Allison." Zak said with a handsome smile that killed me on the inside. "Nurse," I said. My muse turned to look at me. She put her arm down slowly. "Excuse me. But we have a guest." I said walking down the stairs. I smiled at him because I missed him, but I didn't want to show it too much.

"How are you Mr. Bagans?" I said to Zak. "I'm very busy. But I've been swell." He said with a low chuckle. "Um. This way Mr. Bagans to the waiting room." Zak gently took my hand and I took him to the 'Waiting room.' Zak and I stopped. "Um. Bring some refreshments please." My butler and nurse curtsied. Then Zak and I walked into to waiting room. It was in a long dark hallway with only a few candles. "Do you keep your curtains closed all day Miss. Allison?" Zak said. "Oh no. Only in this hall. We almost never come down this hall. Zak looked at all of the antiques and antique paintings. "Who is this? If you mind me asking." I turned and walked towards where he was. "Oh. That is my 7th cousin. Poor thing. Died in a carriage accident." I looked down an thought back to that memory. "Oh. I'm so sorry." Zak said. "Oh no. It's alright." I said. "This way Mr. Bagans." I said.

We then entered the waiting room. I took a seat and Zak took a seat across from me. The huge dark red curtains right behind me was opened and looked out to a huge countryside view. "Such an elegant view Miss. Allison, don't you think?" Zak said. I looked out the window. "Oh yes. Quite breathtaking." I said. The room had lavish furniture with a huge mantle hearth fireplace with carvings. Two candle stands, and a dark wooded coffee table. Then Zak wanted to say something. But he couldn't. "We're you about to say something Mr. Bagans?" I said. Then I heard a low growl. It was Zak
