I looked away from him. Then I looked back. He was still looking at me.

The lights dimmed down. Then the performance began.

I looked back at the performance, but I still felt like that I was being watched. I looked back at Mr. Bagans. He was still looking at me. I looked at him. There was a message in his eyes, but I couldn't understand what it said. I turned back at the performance. And watched.

I couldn't focus of what the opera was about. "Is he still staring at me? What is he doing here? I thought he was in London. Why is he back so early? Will he ask for me after the opera? No. I will go home. I hope he is not staring at me." I said in my head. "I will just take a quick look. Just a quick look." I said again in my head. I sighed. Then I took a deep breath, and looked to Zak. He was staring at the opera, then to me. Then he leaned a little. Then. I see him talking to someone. Then he looks at me, and whispers something's to the man. Then the man next to Zak bowed at him, and left.

I immediately looked back at the opera. I finally caught up with the performance. It was a love ballad. Oh this is just what I need. But that won't ruin my night.

Then. As the play was about to end, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around. It was the same man who was talking to Mr. Bagans earlier. "Excuse me. Are you Miss. Allison?" The man said. The man was not so tall, not so short. He had glasses, a nice trim cut beard, and was dressed all fancy. "Yes. I am Miss. Allison." I said in a whisper. "I am here to tell you, that Mr. Bagans has asked you to see him after the opera performance." My nurse over heard. "Um excuse me. My lady will be seeing no one." I stopped her. "It's alright nurse. I will just say hello. And then I will be on my way." I said to her still in a whisper. "Oh excuse me again Miss. But Mr. Bagans wants to see her. Without a chaperone." He said. My nurse looked at the man, then back at me. "But I will take her home." "Mr. Bagans will take her home Miss. She will be home on time." The man said. I sighed. "Yes. I will see Mr. Bagans. Nurse. I will be fine." I said. Patting her hand. I loved my nurse. She always worried about me.

Then the theatre lights dimmed up. The performance was over. I got out of my seat and followed the man. Everyone was looking at me. Because they know who the man I was following was. The man I was following worked for Mr. Bagans.

I went back to the dark red hallway. The candle lights glowed.

The man pulled the curtains, and there he was. Mr. Bagans. I just stood there, at the foot of the doorway. Then he turned around and saw me. He stood up out of his seat. I walked towards him with my head held high. "Please. Miss. Allison sit down. Please." Zak said in a almost nervous voice. I sat down, but just stayed quiet. "You can go now gentlemen. Thank you." Zak said. I heard the clicking of the men's shoes.

Zak sat in his seat. Very close to me. I looked a little to my right side. Zak was sitting extremely close to me. "How are you Miss. Allison?" He asked me. I didn't look at him. "I'm alright. Thank you. How are you Mr. Bagans?" I said. He looked at me. "I've been great Miss. Allison. Should I ask? Are you alright?" He said. I turned and looked at him. "Yes. No may you please take me home. Please." I said.

Zak stood out of his seat, and stretched out his hand. I took it and got out of my seat. We left the opera. We got in the carriage and we left. On our way home, I just wanted to ask the question. Then. "Do you have any lovers Mr. Bagans?" I said. He looked at me. In complete shock. "I mean you have to." I said. "No. Not any. But soon, I will." He said. Then it was quiet. Then I arrive home. "Give us a few minutes please." Mr. Bagans said. I just said nothing. Zak looked at me. Then he got close to me. Just right by my lips. he looked at my lips, then back into my eyes. Then he kissed me. " I love you." He said.
