After the whole encounter with my screaming and the announcement of my parent’s sudden business trip, it was just Anjelica and I, getting dressed to go downstairs for breakfast. “Angelica,” I said while helping her with her corset. She looked at me in the mirror. I stopped and thought for a second. “What is it?” She asked sort of worried. “I just………. I just feel so odd after the dream I had. I feel so out of place.” I said. She turned around and held my shoulders. “Do you want to talk about the dream Shelby?” I wanted to, but at the same time I didn’t. ‘What would she say if I told her?’ I ask myself, ‘She’ll probably think you’re crazy, and turn you in to the psych ward.’ I again said to myself. Not out loud of course. “No.” I said to her with a smile. She nodded her head. So, I went back to finishing tying her corset.
“You know,” She said looking into the mirror at me. “Zak was outside your door immediately when he heard the screaming. He didn’t even come inside the room until he got the ok, that you were waking up.” I stopped what I was doing and picturing all of this. Anjelica continued. “He looked like he took all of the blame for this. He looked like he wanted to hold you and never let you go, or even out of his sight. He truly cares about you Shelby. And I know you care about him too. Be happy.” She turns around and hugs me. I tear up a little and hug her. Then, I just cry. “I love him Angelica. I feel like if he is gone, I would die. A whole piece of me is gone.” I say to her. “I love him Anjelica. I love him so much.”
We hugged for a while and then got finished getting ready. Angelica wore a blush pink dress, with elbow length sleeves, with black lace. With matching shoes (Black). I wore a blue dress, with elbow length sleeves, and black lace, with matching shoes (also black).
When Anjelica and I were ready for breakfast, we left my room to go downstairs for breakfast. Once we reached the steps, I saw Zak at the edge of the stairwell looking at me and waiting for me. He smiled at me once he saw me. Angelica nudged me and we both giggled. Angelica made her way down the stairs and to the dining room. I then slowly made my way down the stairs, smiling down at Zak. He then reached his hand out to me, I put my hand gently in his. It felt so right to be with him. Like God put us together for a reason. I don’t know what it is, but I’m glad it is.
“You look absolutely beautiful today Miss. Allison.” Zak said kissing my hand. I had to look down to hide my blush. “Thank you Mr. Bagans.” I said and then looked up at him. “You look very handsome today.’’ I said to him. He laughed a little and blushed too. “Thank you Miss. Allison.” He said with a smile.
Zak and I were about to make our way to the dining room until I stopped walking. He turned and looked at me. Confusion written all over his face. “Can I talk to you? Alone, please?” He nodded and I escorted him into the study room. Zak closed the doors behind him, while still facing me. "Yes, my love. What is it?” He said nervously. I went up to him and kissed him. I couldn’t help myself. I NEEDED him. I WANTED him. We pulled away from our heated kiss. I looked into his beautiful ocean blue eyes. “I was so afraid for you my love. It sounded like you were being attacked and were dying. I couldn’t take it.” Zak said with tears in his eyes. I wiped the falling tears with my thumb, and Zak did the same when he saw me crying too. “I’m sorry I worried you my love. It’s just that, the dream I had last night, it frightened me.” I said truthfully. Zak looked like he wanted to ask what my dream was about. But, as a gentleman, he didn’t. I didn’t want to anyways. “I guessed you’ve heard that I will be coming to your estate when my patents leave tonight?” I ask him. Zak nodded. “Yes. Your father told me last night before I left to take care of some business.” He said. I nodded.
I guess my father wanted to get the approval from Zak before he told me, which is understandable. “I guess we should head to breakfast now” I said. “They must be asking where we are, and get suspicious.” I giggled at the thought. I guessed Zak pictured that too, as he too chuckled at the thought of my family and Angelica, (which we treat her like the sister/daughter we always wanted) saying the most ridiculous things in the dining room, wondering where Zak and I have gone.
“I guess we should be going to breakfast now my love.” Zak said. “Yes, let’s go.” We both got up, and I looped my hand around Zak’s arm. And we made our way to the dining room.
