Chapter 26

I looked at him in complete shock. Zak and I looked at each other. Zak held me close. "I love you too." I said. Zak smiled. Then he kissed me again. "I've loved no one else but you Shelby. Honest." Zak said in my ear. My smile went away. "Then. Why does Mrs. York says that you use and abuse women." I said. Zak froze and pulled away. He looked at me in shock. "I need to tell you something."

He pulled away and held my hand. "I've never had a woman love me. I've never kissed a woman, or even held her like I have to you. I love you Shelby. Mrs. York is married. But yet she loves me. She wanted to divorce her husband, and get me to marry her. Just for my money. But you. You just love me for me."

He stroked my hair. "You don't love me just for my money. You love me for me. And I love you. Every last bit of you. Shelby. I love you." And he kissed me again. I looked at him. "I really love you Zak. But when Mrs. York said-" he held his index finger against my lips. "Shhh. Who cares about what she thinks. I'm with you. And your with me." He said.

I smiled. Zak stroked my cheek. "You are just so beautiful. I just want to make you mine." He said. I smiled and laughed a little. Zak joined me.

"I'm sorry. I have to go. Goodnight." I said. Zak grabbed my hand. "Wait." Zak said. And he pulled me into his arms. "No goodnight yet." He said. My heart skipped beats. Then he kissed my neck. I tilted my head back. His kiss sensed chills down my spine.

Then Zak pulled away and looked at me. Then he kissed me. "Goodnight. Shelby. Goodnight." He said. "Goodnight." I said. Then I leaned in, then Zak leaned in. Then we kissed. Gosh he was a good kisser. Then I opened the carriage door and got out. I turned and looked at Mr. Bagans.

He gently grabbed my hand an kissed it. He winked at me. "Goodnight Miss. Allison." He said, kissing my hand again. "Goodnight Mr. Bagans." I said, smiling.

Then I turned back around and walked into my house. I closed the door behind me and sighed. I'm in complete love.
