I immediately got back. I stated at Zak with fright. His eyes were blue to black. Then his eyes changed back to blue. "Are you ok Mr. Bagans?" I said. Zak looked down at me. "I'm sorry. I guess I should go." Then he got up and left. I just stared at the open door way. "Is everything alright madam?" My butler said cautiously. "I guess." I said. I got up from the dark couch and recognized that he left his handkerchief. I picked it up from the ground. It was Italian lacing. It was so elegant. I bring the handkerchief up to my nose. I smelled it.
It smelled just like him. "Oh Zak." I said lightly. "Miss. Dinners ready." My nurse called. "Comming!" I said. I stuffed the handkerchief into my right sleeve and went to dinner. I ate dinner alone. It's not weird to me. Cherry jello with strawberries on the side. Mash potatoes with soup. Chicken soup. My favorite. The mash potatoes of course. After dinner it was time to go and get ready for bed. I took a hot bath and washed my long dark brown hair. After my hot relaxing bath, I put on my night gown. My nurse braided my hair. "I'll put on the fire miss."
"Thank you." I said to my nurse. As she put on the fire, I went to my drawer. A 3 mirror, one drawer. Dark wood with an elegant design to it. I sat down and opened the drawer. I took out my journal (diary if you want to call it) and began to write.
Dear journal,
Well today was another lonely day. Except that last minute before dinner began, Mr. Bagans arrived. It was very a shocking to me actually. And we talked about a couple of antiques, and paintings. But while Mr. Bagans and I were in the waiting room. He gave me such a fright. He began to growl, and his eyes turned black. Then he left. But he did leave his handkerchief. I kept it as a suvonyier. Oh I hope to see him again. Goodnight.
Sincerely yours,
Shelby Allison
