"Hey mama..." I say hugging Toya as I walked past her on my way to Rakim's room.
She looked up from what she was doing and turned around to give me a hug. Toya and I have a really good relationship. I knew her before I started dating Rakim and she's always treated me like her daughter. Now that I'm dating her son, she treats me more like her own than she did before. She literally invites me to family dinners and vacations, she even buys me gifts all the time. She is really like my second mom.
"I thought y'all was fighting?" She asked.
I shake my head and smile. "No. He came over and bought me food a few days ago." I say.
Toya looked at me and shakes her head. "You both are crazy." She chuckled.
"Crazy in love." I say softly as I touched my heart. "Is he upstairs?"
"No, he's downstairs on the game." Toya said.
I nod my head and make my wave to his man cave downstairs. I knock and after not getting a response, I open the door and walk in. He had his headphones on playing Call of Duty.
"Ayo hold up my girl just walked in.." he said to whoever was on the other side.
Rakim took his headphones off and smiled at me as I waved. "Hey what you doing here?" He asked.
