"What are you doing?" My mom asked as I say my phone down.
"Laundry before Xia gets home. I have an online class in like thirty minutes.." I say sighing.
"You seem a little tired." She mumbled. "You need me to come help?" She offered.
I smile softly, "mom if you wanna come down here you can just come." I say laughing.
Every time my mom and I are on the phone she mentions coming down here to visit me. I think she feels like she's intruding on me. I've been pretty lonely. Alana came out here for like two days and then went back to LA and I haven't seen my siblings. Zonnique is pregnant, so she hasn't been traveling that much. My dad and I are back to not speaking on a regular basis, I don't know how that happened.
"I miss you." My mom whispered.
"I miss you too." I tell her.
"Your father, he's been um-- calling for you." Mama said making me sigh deeply.
I shake my head in disbelief. "He does know I'm grown with my own house and my own phone, right?" I ask chuckling.
"He just doesn't know if you'll pick up-"
"I won't." I simply respond.
My phone started making noise with an alarm for RJ's medicine.
"Hey mom let me call you back later." I said turning my alarm off.
"Arlight love you baby."
"Love you too bye." I said before hanging up.
I put the rest of laundry in the washer and then went to get RJ ready for his medicine. When I got to his room, he was flipping off his bed, forcing himself onto his gym mat covered floor.
