Today is Ryan's baby shower and I am over the moon excited. A little more excited for hers than I was for mines because I had a little small gathering that was very intimate. But, Ryan wanted to invite all of Rakim's family and friends since this is a hard time for everyone. Welcoming baby RJ will hopefully put everyone in good spirits.
Me, my mom, Toya and Reginae all pitched in and helped plan the baby shower. At first Ryan didn't want one but we practically forced it on her and Toya made some threats but we won't talk about that.
We went with teddy bears as the theme. Something really handsome and neutral. All the colors are more natural than showy. The teddy bears was my eye idea because that's what I wanted to do when I thought I was having a boy but instead I popped out a big head ass daughter.

"Oh my goodness this is so cute!" Zonnique said poking her bottom lip out. "I want one." She said in awe.
"I know it is pretty cute. Thanks." I said smiling proudly.
Zonnique looked over at me and rolled her eyes. "Where is Ryan anyway?" She asked.
"I'm not sure." I say shaking my head. "Maybe in the bathroom." I guess.
"Well look, I'm going to be out of town next week in Atlanta. I want you to come." Zonnique invited me.
"Is there a reason for the trip?" I ask looking at her.
