I was cleaning Xia's high chair and washing the dishes, waiting for Jordan to get back home. Last night was something different. I'm not gonna lie seeing rakim threw my whole vibe off. Alana offered to just take me somewhere else, but at that point I was just tired. There was nothing more I wanted to do than fall asleep next to my daughter.
"Xia you don't eat the crayon baby." I say walking over to her.
She looked up at me and spit the tip of the blue crayon out her mouth. I sigh deeply and shake my head.
"You wanna go play with block? Let's try that instea.." I pick her crayons up from the ground and sit them i n high place where she can't get them.
Xia walked over to her blocks with me and sat down. I started helping her build a tower just so she could knock it down every time I put a block up on the tower.
"Are you gonna keep knocking mommy's blocks down?" I ask crossing my arms.
"Yep." xia said honestly.
I laugh softly and shake my head. The door opened and I leaned back to see it was jordan coming in with the promised groceries. I got up and walked in the kitchen. He didn't say anything to me. He just looked at me and then started putting the dishes up.
"I got it." He said grabbing the bag from me.
I squinted with a confused look on my face. He always lets me help him put the dishes. Usually we talk about what's for dinner while we do this.
"What'd you get?" I ask.
"Food." Jordan answered with an attitude.
