I grabbed a water bottle and closed the fridge, looking around the corner to see if Rakim was okay. He got out the hospital two days ago and so I've kind of just been helping him out around his house. The doctors put him in a wheelchair, but he's walking a little bit. I think at least one more month of physical therapy and he'll be close to being back to normal.

No, I haven't been staying here with Rakim

No, I haven't been staying here with Rakim. I actually moved into a condo in a unit below here, just be close to him because him living alone is giving me major anxiety.

As far as Jordan and I's relationship goes, we're still friends right now. But, I had to take a step back from that. I do love Jordan but right now my focus is on Rakim. Before anythiing Rakim and I are best friends, he knows me more than anybody else that isn't my family. So, I'm gonna help him heal and get him back to normal before I start putting my focus on another man.

And Jordan can either get with it or get loss.

"Here you go

"Here you go." I say handing Rakim the bottled water.

He smiled softly and grabbed it. "Thank you." He said as I sat down on the couch. "You know, you're gonna be a good wife one day. To whoever." He said making me laugh softly.

"Thank you." I say softly. "But, I'm not getting married time soon. I think I like being single." I tell Rakim.

"Oh really?" He asked sitting up.

"Yeah." I nod. "I learn more and more about myself every hour of the day it seems like." I chuckle.

Rakim looked at me squinted. "Yeah..? What'd you learn so far?" He asked.

I leaned back on the couch and cross my legs, sitting my lands in my lap. I didn't know if Rakim was really interested or not, but he just stared at me as if he was waiting for me to speak. I tucked a curl behind my ear and looked straightforward.

"I learned that I'm more intelligent and more reliable to myself than I thought I was. Like, I feel like I used to rush to have you in my life forever because my dad wasn't around and I felt like I needed somebody, a man. But, I really just needed to be more confident in myself." I tell Rakim.
