Bonds of Eternity: Return to Kalos

The Incursion

"What's that?!" Ash asked to himself while looking at the enormous rocket. While Ash was looking at it in a mixture of awe and fright, Mairin entered the greenhouse with Sophie, Cosette, and Vasyl. Every assistant other than Vasyl were shocked at the sight of the shattered greenhouse and seeing the injured body of Professor Sycamore, but Vasyl kept his straight, neutral expression. He seemed relatively unfazed, but in reality he was also horrified.

The assistants brought him to Clemont, so that he could drive the Professor to the hospital. He saw Professor Sycamore being injured, and he was shocked. From this shock, he decided to unfold the cubic car again and drive him to the hospital as soon as possible. "See you later, everyone! I'll do my best to help him!" Clemont said to the Professor's assistants while starting the engine. His car quickly went away from the laboratory.

Meanwhile, Ash saw two people coming out from the rocket. They were also accompanied by a small Pokemon covered in armor. He couldn't recognize what Pokemon it was, because the armor covered its entire body, obscuring its true form. But, he realized who the mysterious figures were when he saw their hairs and their uniforms. One of them had blue, slightly long hair split down the middle, while the other had a red hair curled in a comet-tail. In their uniforms which was mostly white with some black armor, the letter "R" was emblazoned on their chests. Pikachu stood his ground next to Ash, preparing to defend himself and his trainer from these people.

"Hello there, twerp! It has been 4 years since we last met!" said the one with the blue hair. "Team Rocket! What are you here for?!" Ash questioned them with raging eyes. When Misty and Serena heard Ash's voice, they rushed towards the greenhouse, to help Ash against the intruders. "We're going to take over Kalos. We will fulfill the ambition of Giovanni!" said Jessie. "As if I'll let that happen!" Ash reacted to their bold statement. "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"

When he heard his trainer's command, Pikachu unleashed bolts of electricity from both of his cheeks. The Team Rocket duo covered their torso with their arms crossed in defense, absorbing the thunderbolt. "What-what was that?!" Ash asked them while he was shocked. Pikachu was also surprised that the attack that used to blast them off to space now doesn't work.

"See, twerp! We've improved our gear over these years! Don't underestimate Team Rocket!" James boasted to him. But then, Serena and Misty arrived at the lighthouse. "The Kantonian twerpette and the Kalosian twerpette?!" Meowth said in surprise. "Yeah, Team Rocket! You won't get away with your antics!" Serena replied. 

"Is that so? Then go, Gourgeist! Use Leech Seed!" Jessie said while throwing a Pokeball. A Pokemon covered in machines came out from the Pokeball. "W-what is that?!" Misty asked. "Glad you asked! This is a machine to strengthen Pokemon!" James explained to her. Serena, Ash, and Misty reacted with shock and disgust, thinking that the machines cause Pokemon to suffer. When they were looking at that, Gourgeist made a distorted noise and pale green plants started to appear from under the ground, tying up Serena.

"Serena!" Ash shouted as he saw the plant engulfing Serena. She screamed, but her energy was sucked by the plant, leaving her fatigued. "How... how did a simple Leech Seed turned into such a gigantic plant the size of an adult human being?!" Misty thought to herself, while being shocked. "Alright then, Pikachu! Cut the plants with Iron Tail!" Ash commanded him. Pikachu then jumped into the air, and sliced the leeching plants into a thousand pieces, untying Serena in the process.

Serena almost fell to the ground, but Ash carried her until she opened her eyes. Immediately after opening her eyes, she blushed and Ash let go of her so that she could stand. She stood again, having regained her energy which was stolen by the plants. "Serena, Misty!" Ash said with a thunderous voice. He immediately gained their attention. "Lend me your strength! I can't face against these modified Pokemon myself!" he spoke, asking for help. "Alright!" Serena and Misty replied in unison.
