The New Queen's Arrival

Clemont and Ash were back outside, walking around Lumiose City. While walking, they noticed a large billboard saying "Super Pokemon Performance: The Journeys of Braixen by the New Kalos Queen." In that billboard, they recognized a familiar face: a young, beautiful girl with blue eyes, a red hat, and short, blonde hair. 

"Hmm, Ash, do you recognize who she is? I think that that's Serena," Clemont said.

"Wait, yeah, that is Serena! Where is she going to perform?" Ash stated, quickly followed by a question.

"Let's see... she's going to perform in the Lumiose Amphitheater in the Sauveurs-de-Kalos Street. Well, that's what this sign says," Clemont explained to Ash.

"Well, if so, then let's go there!" Ash exclaimed. After his enthusiastic remark, he ran and pulled Clemont along with him. Clemont couldn't keep up with Ash's enthusiasm, and he screamed due to this.

"Wait, Ash! Sauveurs-de-Kalos Street is that way, you're going the wrong way!" Clemont reminded him.

"Sorry, Clemont! Alright then, Serena's performance, here I come!" Ash enthusiastically said to Clemont.

They both rushed together through the streets of Lumiose so they can watch Serena's performance. "Clemont, you're really fast today!" Ash commented on his speed. "Well, yeah, I really want to see her performance again after all these years!" Clemont enthusiastically replied.

After minutes of dashing through Lumiose City, they have finally arrived at the Lumiose Amphitheater. They panted for a while after running for god knows how long, and they ordered the ticket to be seated at the front of the Amphitheater. There, they heard the crowds chanting and cheering for Serena.

As she went up to the stage, the crowd exploded in a burst of joy. "Seems like Serena has reached her dream, she's already the Kalos Queen," Clemont told Ash silently. "Well, I'm not in a position to speak to Serena now! I mean, I am still far away from being a Pokemon Master!" Ash replied. 

After the wave of cheering and chanting, Serena went up into a platform above the stage and began to speak. "Hello, Kalosians! Today, I will do another performance, but this time it'll be a bit different. See, I see Pokemon performances as an art form, and just like any other art form, innovation is inevitable. So today, I will bring you a special, new kind of performance! A Super Pokemon Performance! Our guest star Monsieur Carl will explain what I mean," she spoke to the audience.

Right after her brief speech, an old man went up to the stage, sitting beside Serena. He had a beret, grey hair, and a grey full beard. She then passed the microphone to him, and he proceeded to speak. "Hello, my audience! Welcome to the Super Pokemon Performance! I am Carl, the inventor of the Super Pokemon Battle. If you are unfamiliar with what a Super Pokemon Battle is, then let me explain it to you all. A Super Pokemon Battle is basically a Pokemon battle with a storyline behind it. Now, Serena's Super Pokemon Performance is just like that, but with the battling aspect replaced with performances instead," he spoke to the crowd. As the opening speech ended, the audience applauded and cheered for Serena and Carl.

The curtain then covered the stage, hiding it from them while the set was prepared. After a minute of undisturbed silence covered the amphitheater, the scene of a peaceful meadow with a tranquil, pristine stream of water was shown after grey mist covered the stage, concealing everything on it. Braixen was shown to be playing and dancing with Sylveon while singing an upbeat song under the bright morning sun. Meanwhile, Serena was dancing on top of a bridge overlooking the stage, in sync with her Pokemon. On a minor stage next to the large stage, Primarina was singing a cheerful, serene tune with slightly playful parts. 

But then, a gray flash suddenly appeared out of nowhere, causing a cloud of smoke to appear. Primarina's song turned grim, tense, and discordant - the opposite of the bright song that she has sung before. From behind the cloud, a commotion was heard; Sylveon cried out in distress, while Serena vanished. Braixen then cast her stick to the left and from it, a fire appeared, spinning elegantly towards the source of the smoke. Then, a Metagross appeared and unleashed a Flash Cannon, combining with Braixen's Flamethrower to create an elegant and twisting beam of light on the stage. Then from her wand, she created a Fire Blast facing Metagross, but it collided with it while having a slight bluish shine, due to its move Meteor Mash. This impact created a beautiful fireworks-like scene on the stage, and behind it, Metagross and Sylveon vanished.
