"You told me not to call Yujin, so I'm hoping that you already have a plan how we're going to find her", Taeil said as he frowned at Taeyong and Jaehyun who had come to the apartment with him. He was pacing around the dreamies' living room, unable to sit still. "She wouldn't disappear without letting me know where she's going."
"First, we need to figure out where she went after having lunch with you", Jaehyun answered. He was speaking in a calm, almost unbothered voice, and if Taeil hadn't known him well enough to know that it was his natural response to a serious situation, he might've wanted to hit the younger man in the face. "Has anyone reached out to the Chinese Embassy to check if she picked up her passport?"
Jeno, Renjun and Taeil shared a look. "No", Jeno admitted, feeling embarrassed. "That didn't come to my mind."
Jaehyun nodded. "Then someone should call them. Also, depending on what kind of a transportation card she uses, we might be able to track her movements. That could help us to limit the area we need to search in order to locate her."
"I can ask my dad to give me the contact information of a private investigator he used in the past", Chenle suggested, already taking his phone in his hand. "Maybe Renjun could also ask - "
Jaemin jabbed his side, silencing him in the middle of the sentence. "Let's turn one stone at a time", he said quietly, glancing at Renjun whose face had stiffened when he heard the beginning of Chenle's idea.
"But we need to find noona", Chenle muttered.
Jeno placed his hand on Chenle's arm. "We will find her", he promised. While he understood where Chenle's idea came from, he knew that it would be better for all of them to try to avoid opening that can of worms. "But it is true that we need to be careful about this. Considering Yujin's past, it's better not to include any more people than necessary."
While Jeno was reassuring Chenle, he was torn inside, feeling like the worry could drive him crazy any second. It had been over 12 hours since he had seen Yujin and while Taeil had met her over a lunch after that, Jeno couldn't stop himself from thinking about all of the possible dangers she could've met as soon as she had left the apartment on her own.
The Samoyed whined inside his mind, telling him to go and look for her immediately before something bad happened. It wasn't patient enough for planning and thinking.
"Okay", Taeyong said. Taeil stopped pacing. "Taeil should call the Embassy since he's probably the only one they'll speak to, considering his family ties to Yujin. Meanwhile, we can start digging her travelling data, if we can find a way to access it."
Haechan, who'd been on his phone for the most part of the conversation, lifted his head. "Mark suggested that we could ask Jungwoo to take a look at the Seoul Metro and Korail database to see if he finds anything."
Jeno looked at his hands. He was useless. There was nothing he could do to ensure Yujin's safety - or anyone else's safety.
Jaemin saw the turmoil on his face and reached behind Chenle to take a hold of his hand. "We will find her, Jeno-ya."

Yujin was tossed to the floor by two burly men who had taken her from the quiet room and dragged her through the empty, echoey halls before taking her to an office. She tried to get into a sitting position but it was difficult since her hands were still tied behind her back and her ankles were tied together as well. But that didn't stop her from trying, since she knew that the two men and a few others, including concerned looking Jisung, were behind her, and she didn't want to remain in such a helpless position in front of them.
"Welcome to my office, Moon Yujin-ssi", Park Sunyoung greeted her. She followed Yujin's struggle against the zip ties with great curiosity.
Hearing her name from the other woman's mouth made Yujin look up from the floor with wide eyes.
