I walked back into the club and saw Josh flirting with the same girl at the bar still. As I approached them, I could hear Josh asking her to dance but i pulled him back.

"Hey what the hell Louis." He snapped, shoving me away.

"What the hell was that all about?" I asked him.

"I don't know why you're little friend has a problem with me?" He said and smirked. "You let your wife go alone and sick? So much for newlyweds in love."

I gave him a sour look. "What the fuck is that supposed to me."

"I heard about your little affair. Already so soon into your marriage?" Josh asks.

My face fell and I began to her nervous. "I don't have any idea what you're talking about." I lied.

"Really? Because you're all the buzz in London. No wonder your wife is pissed drunk. Photos of you leaving that actress's town house surfaced and they all say you're having an affair." He informed me and I felt the earth slipping away from me and began to panic.

I woke up the next morning expecting to be alone but much to my surprise Louis was sitting at the little table with his laptop and typing his life away. When I rolled around in the blankets, he heard and looked to me.

I saw his face then remembered the pictures of him leaving Danielle's townhouse. I was right about everything, about him, and about her.

"Good morning. . .there's some water and Advil on your bedside. . ." He said almost like he was nervous.

I didn't respond, the shooting pains in my head distracting me. I chugged the water along with the Advil and prayed it kicked in soon.

"Look, I don't know if. . .if you've heard about what's going on in London or—"

"You mean your little affair with Danielle?" I asked and he looked down.

"I think we should return to London and try to calm down all these rumors. I can say I forgot something of mine, and you can say you trust me and you knew about it all—"

I scoffed and he immediately stopped talking when he heard that.

"I don't have to try to fix anything. This marriage might be fake but I'm not stupid enough to get caught cheating, and I don't have a father on my back about working and my image so this is entirely your problem." I told him and laid back down.

"Eleanor, it's not what you think. Really." He said and stood up.

"Oh really? All those late nights, you leaving and being gone for so long? Her calling your phone? If your going to have an affair I guess you don't have to hide it from me but you should do a better job at hiding it from the world. I hid a relationship better than you." I fired back.

"Are you having an affair?" He asked like he was about to get mad.

"Who cares if I'm having an affair? You are!! So even if I was you have no right to get mad!!" I yelled at him, hurting my head intensely.

That was it for me. I put my hand on my hand and laid back down. Louis shut his laptop, and made his way to me.

"Look. . .we should just clear the air, and before you start jumping to conclusions—"

I scoffed, and he looked to me confused.

"I'm not your real wife Louis, you don't owe me any explanations." I said in a sarcastic manner. He looked disappointed he didn't get to say what he wanted but what I said was true.
