~ E L E A N O R ~The jet landed, and the stairs folded out once the door opened. Louis exited first, and I followed right behind him. As soon as I exited, I noticed people scrambling to get our bags, and a man in a black suit waiting by a black SUV with the door opened waiting for us.
A lady in a pencil skirt and button up stepped forward, and greeted Louis.
"Mr. and Mrs. Tomlinson, pleasured to have you back and pleasured to meet you. Congratulations to the both of you. Your bags are being put in the car, and the chauffeur will be taking you to your home." She informed us, and Louis nodded his head.
"Perfect." He said, and began walking to the car, his hand on my back guiding me.
I didn't know what felr weirder. Having so many people waiting on me hand and foot, being called Mrs. Tomlinson, or Louis's hand on my back. Nonetheless, I went along with it. Louis let me in the back first, and followed behind me.
As soon as I entered the car, I slid over to the farthest seat by the window, buckled myself, and just stared out the window. Nothing spectacular to look at, it was still dark out, and other planes at the airport were taking off. To be quite honest I just wanted to sleep. It felt weird though to know I was in a different place I had never been. Part of me felt excited but the other part would've have been more excited if I was experiencing this with someone I wanted to.
Harry.
I heard Louis sigh like he was going to say something so to avoid conversation, I leaned my head against the window and closed my eyes pretending to be asleep. I don't know how, but I could just feel his eyes on me making it much harder to fake sleeping.
Eventually I felt the car begin to move, and we were off to Louis's "home". Don't know what or where that is, I thought we were supposed to be in a hotel, but Louis loves this place so much I wouldn't be shocked if he bought a house here. I just had to live with him in it, and that part made me squirm.
Soon pretending to be asleep became me really falling asleep. It had been a long day, a roller coaster ride of emotions, and a long flight. I was exhausted, and let myself fall into a deep sleep. It didn't feel like I was asleep too long because soon enough, I felt Louis nudging me to wake up and said we were here.
So I slowly peeled my eyes open and picked up my head from the window to take in my surroundings. My vision was a bit hazy and the car lights inside were on making me squint. I grabbed my purse, and slid over to the open door where Louis was to exit the car.
Louis offered his hand to help me, but I didn't look his way and didn't accept his help. I walked out, and looked around.
Oh my goodness.
My jaw slightly fell ajar as my eyes took in the sight of a gorgeous, large modern house in front of us. Every line, every detail looked so sharp and defined. Larger windows were everywhere, and where there was a porch, instead of railings or anything it was glass. The whole property was enclosed by a gate so you still had privacy with large windows as well. If the house looked so pretty on the outside, I could only imagine what the inside looked like.
I was in awe.
"This way." Louis said, ignoring the way I didn't accept his help and made his way up a path. I followed him, wrapping my arms around myself. The chauffeur took all our bags inside.
The more steps I took, the more I was in awe. The outside was nothing like the inside. Once you stepped inside the main foyer, a white stair case curved down, with glass railings. The walls were white, and all the furniture were either gray or black. The lights were turned on making the white walls brighter. The whole entire floor was so open, from here I could see the large living area, huge open kitchen with black wood cabinets, black fridge, and white granite counter tops. The dining table was next to it, and could seat eight people.
The most noticeable thing to me was the large and LONG window across the floor that showed the backyard. And in the backyard was a long pool with bright blue water, so noticeable because of the pool lights.
"This is. . .your house?" I asked breathlessly, my eyes still wandering around trying to remember every small detail.
Louis hummed immediately walking to a silver bowl on a black table by a closet door. He picked up the envelopes and began flipping through them, mail I assume.
"Well, our home I guess. Make yourself at home." He said mindlessly.
I scoffed. This was the place I get to call home for the next week or so? The place looked so nice, and fancy that I was afriad to take a step and maybe dirty the floor, or touch anything.
"All the bags have been unloaded. If there's anything else you need Mr. Tomlinson." The chauffeur informed Louis.
"That'll be all." He said, the chauffeur nodded his head and exited the house closing the door behind him.
Louis threw the mail back in the bowl, and made his way to the kitchen. Nothing was on the counters making it look so pretty and clean. I had heart eyes for this whole house, and I haven't even seen the second floor.
I took a few steps closer to the kitchen to see Louis open his fridge and grab himself a beer. He turned around to open another drawer and grabbed a bottle opener. I hear a 'pop' as he opened the beer and brought it to his mouth.
"Would it kill you to say thank you." I told him, finally speaking to him.
Louis gave me a shocked look, leaning against the island in his kitchen.
"Oh, so now you're talking to me." He said sarcastically.
I walked into the kitchen standing on the opposite side of the island from him.
"I was mad at you."
He raised an offended eyebrow.
"For what?!"
"You were getting in my business!" I fired back, and he shook his head.
"We were playing a game of twenty questions. I asked a question, then you got all pissy and ignored me the rest of the flight. I didn't break any rule. Besides, it was your idea to get to know each other." He said back with a grin, and took another drink of his beer.
"Remember how you reacted when I asked you about your female visitor at the wedding? You went off on me." I reminded him, crossing my arms.
He raised a finger as if to say wait. "I apologized for that."
"But still. You don't let me in your business, I don't let you in mine." I said like a child whining, and crossed my arms.
He shook his head again, rolling his eyes as he drank his beer.
"Fine. Fair enough. Didn't mean to upset you." He said, and placed his beer on the counter by the sink.
But what happens now? We're married. We're at our honeymoon destination. And it's our wedding night. . .
Louis and I both stood in an uncomfortable silence, both of us not knowing what to do. I began to feel nervous for some reason. Where was I supposed to sleep? The couch? Because I sure as hell refuse to sleep in the same bed as him.
Louis stood straight from the counter and looked to me.
"So. Ready to go to bed?" He asked me, a small grin curling from the side of his mouth.
My breath hitched.
