~ E L E A N O R ~
The house had been silent ever since we got back from the funeral. Louis spent the day in his office, and I tried to keep myself busy by watching television, reading a novel, organizing my clothes in the empty drawers and closet space he made for me.
But I couldn't stay interested in the show, I kept re reading the same paragraph that I gave up on the novel, and once I finished organizing my clothes I then realized I had nothing to again. Bored out of my mind, I plopped myself down on the cloud and took a nap.
"Eleanor. . .Eleanor!"
I could feel someone shaking me, and as my mind slowly came back down to earth, I opened my heavy eyelids to see Louis standing over me. I mentally groaned and rubbed my sleepy eyes.
"How long did I nap?" I asked through a hazy voice.
"Long enough. Get up, some friends of yours are here." He said in a serious tone. That made me sit up with a confused face.
"Friends? I didn't invite anyone?" I said questioningly.
"Sophia and Liam?" He asked annoyed.
What? They're here?
I quickly got out of the bed and rushed down the staircase to see my best friend and her boyfriend admiring the foyer of the house. Once Sophia spotted me she smiled and rushed to hug me.
"El! Hey you!" She said excitedly and I put on a smile as I hugged her back.
"Soph! Hi, to what do I owe this pleasure?" I asked. I didn't mind her being here, I just didn't know she was coming.
"Well you're lovely husband let us in. Liam said he saw you at the funeral today. We didn't know you were back from your honeymoon so fast. Thought we'd stop by and visit." She said all chirpy.
"Hope we didn't interrupt anything huh you newlyweds." Liam teased, wiggling his eyesbrowe obviously referring to sex.
We heard a scoff, and I turned around to give Louis a glare. I was still mad at him. But why?
"Please, with this one? All she does is sleep." Louis joker making them laugh. I rolled my eyes.
"Liam Payne, I don't think we've ever been formally introduced." Liam said extending his hand.
Louis took it, and they shook hands. "Louis Tomlinson, nice to meet you."
"We've met before." Sophia said with a smile and gave him a friendly hug even though Louis went in for a shake of the hands.
I wanted to laugh because I knew he didn't particularly like Sophia, especially hugging. Louis gave me a little glare and I grinned.
"Sophia, always a pleasure." He said with a fake smile.
"We thought we could all have dinner together." Sophia suggested.
Louis and I looked to each other, and then back at them.
"Oh, well we didn't have anything planned for dinner." I said, pinching my lips together.
"Well we could make something, or go out. We really don't care right honey?" Sophia asked Liam, and Liam shrugged.
"We don't have any groceries since we just got back." Louis said to me, and I nodded my head.
"Well we'll go out then. Just let me get some shoes on." I said to them and Sophia smiled.
"Please, make yourselves at home." Louis told them following me up the stairs.
They smiled and sat down in one of the formal living rooms. Once they were out of sight, both mind and Louis's face went serious again.
