E L E A N O R

It was a quarter till six, and dinner with Harry was supposed to be at 6:30. To say I was nervous was an understatement. I replayed this dinner in my head thousands of times imagining all the possible outcomes and none of them seem like a good option.

I dressed my best for this dinner. I wore a white dress, cream colored heels, my hair was straightened, and as I walked down the last steps of the staircase I was clipping on my earrings. My wedding ring seemed to shine extremely bright on my finger as well.

I was walking up to Louis's office to see if he was almost done working but I stopped in my tracks when I heard his voice. The door was open a crack, and I could tell by the tone of his voice he was on the phone with someone. I sighed, and quietly walked in.

"Yes, yes the accounts are still there, up and running." Louis said, and turned around when he heard the door creak open.

He took notice of me, and I couldn't help but smile a little when he looked me up and down before nodding his head as a hello. I sat down in one of the chairs by his desk, and crossed my legs waiting for him to get off of the call.

"Yes, I'm aware that prick is after my job but I assure you no more personal events will get in the way. I'm sure you could understand my wedding day and honeymoon is important." Louis said to the person on the phone, but didn't break eye contact with me.

"Understood, I won't let him. . . and same to you sir, have a good night." He said and hung up the phone.

"Dinner is almost ready darling, are you?" I asked him in a preppy voice making him smirk.

"Well don't you look darling. Trying to impress your hero or what?" He asked and sat down in the big chair behind his desk, facing me.

I rolled my eyes. Maybe, but you don't have to know that.

"Funny. But seriously, it's almost six." I told him, and he sighed checking his watch.

"Why do you look so. . .perfect?" He asked, and my heart nearly skipped a beat at his question.

"Just ready to play the role of the perfect wife. How am I doing?" I asked cheekily, making him grin as we heard the doorbell ring.

"Very well." He said, and we both chuckled as he led me out of his office.

But once we were out of those doors, I was reminded of what was really going down tonight. Harry was on the other side of that door to witness our marriage and it was my job to put on a smile while he watched me with another man. This had to be my worst nightmare coming to life.

I gulped nervously as we waited at the end of the staircase while the maid opened the front door. I felt Louis's hand on my lower back, and saw from the corner of my eye him looking at me.

"You alright? You've suddenly gone very pale." He whispered to me, and I quickly nodded my head.

"Yes, yes—"

"Hey you two!!!!" Sophia's voice beamed, making my eyes go wide as I my head whipped back to the front doors.

Sophia?! What is she doing here?!

"Um—what? Sophia, what is she—?" I fumbled for words to Louis in a quiet manner.

"I thought dinner would be less awkward if we had more friendly faces joining us, and she's your best friend so." He said, and stepped forward to shake Liam's hand.

Oh my God no. . .they can't be here. They know who Harry is!!! This ruins the whole dinner!! Oh my God. . .

"Hey babe! You okay? You look like you've just seen a ghost!" Sophia joked, and hugged me.
