"Excuse us." Steve said to the man who had just opened the door to our location. Sam had his gun trained on the man in case he were to try anything funny, meanwhile I waved at him. He swallowed, before putting his hands up and stepping aside letting us slide by him.
Steve of course went out first, followed by Sam, Hill, and I. We were to be taking care of things on our end, while Natasha was tasked with getting closer to Pierce. She was pretending to be a council woman, and thanks to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s technology, was able to do exactly that.
We made our way into the control room, silently threatening those with our guns to stay out of the way. Steve pressed a button and spoke into one of the mics in front of him.
"Attention all S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, this is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days. Some of you were even ordered to hunt me down. But I think it's time you know the truth." Steve took a moment, thinking over the words he knew would trouble those still loyal to S.H.I.E.L.D. He paused before speaking again.
"S.H.I.E.L.D. is not what we thought it was. It's been taken over by HYDRA. Alexander Pierce is their leader. The S.T.R.I.K.E. and Insight crew are HYDRA as well. I don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want. Absolute control. They shot Nick Fury. And it won't end there. If you launch those helicarriers today, HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way. Unless we stop them. I know I'm asking a lot. But the price of freedom is high. It always has been. And it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not."
"Did you write that down first, or was it off the top of your head?" Sam asked, jokingly.
"Pretty impressive, Cap. Very motivational." I said, chiming in.
Steve just shook his head with a small smile and proceeded out the door.

"They're initiating launch." Hill's voice came through the earpiece.
Minus Hill, the three of us were running trying any way we could to stop those helicarriers from launching.
"Hey Cap, how do we know the good guys from the bad guys?" Sam asked, slightly out of breath from running.
"If they're shooting at you, they're bad." Steve responded.
"Obviously." I sarcastically remarked causing a glare to be shot my way.
Sam activated his wings and took off into the air, going over the ledge that Steve and I decided to jump off of. Wind whipped my hair in all directions as I fell to the bottom ground level. I landed in a roll, as did Steve, and we kept going.
It wasn't very long before bullets came flying in our direction and we were forced to take cover behind some metal crates. A soldier came from around the corner and before Steve could do anything, I punched the guy's throat and threw him against the opposite crate, causing his head to hit it and knock him unconscious.
As I threw him, I grabbed a grenade off his body and quickly threw it to Steve, who took the pin out and rolled it to the group of HYDRA agents that were shooting at us. The grenade went off in a loud explosion, knocking the agents off their feet and onto the ground.
"Hey, Cap, I found those bad guys you were talking about." Sam said.
"You okay?" Steve asked.
"I'm not dead yet." Sam responded.
