It felt a lot better going home and refreshing myself. I had to admit, though, that being right down the hall from the place Fury died wasn't exactly making me feel at ease. It put me on edge wondering how long it would take before they came for me.

I took a forty-five minute shower. A steaming hot shower always made me feel better. The water washed away the negativity that attached itself to me. It was a peaceful time for me to work out my thoughts.

After I finished up and got changed, I took a seat on the couch with a mug of matcha green tea. I had a bad feeling the situation was only going to get worse and I wanted as much boring as I could get.

As I sipped my tea, my phone went off and I grabbed it off the coffee table and replaced it with my mug. My eyebrows furrowed as I looked at the caller ID. Steve.

"Steve?" I asked.

"Margot. I'll be there soon to pick you up. I don't have a lot of time. Get dressed into casual civilian clothes. We need to go undercover." He rushed out before hanging up.

I jumped off the couch quickly and grabbed a hoodie that was laying on the ground and grabbed a pistol from under the couch. I had a feeling this day was about to get a whole lot more interesting.

A flashdrive.

Steve and I were back at the hospital for a flashdrive.

It was the same one Fury handed to Steve just before he was taken away by the paramedics and now it was gone.

"Are you sure you hid it here?" I asked.

"Yes, Margot. It's hard to forget that I would hide it in a vending machine." Steve retorted.

We stared into the empty gum slot that previously held the flashdrive and willed it to appear out of thin air. Sadly, that wasn't going to happen, but one could hope.

A loud pop was heard behind me and I jumped slightly from the loud noise. In the reflection stood Natasha who just popped a bubble with her gum. That would explain the missing drive.

Steve quickly turned around, grabbing Natasha and pushing her into the empty room behind them. I followed quickly behind them and tried to intervene.

"Where is it?" He questioned.

"Safe."

"Do better."

"Where did you get it?"

"Guys-" I tried to interrupt.

"Why would I tell you?"

"Fury gave it to you. Why?" Realization flooded Natasha's eyes.

"What's on it?"

"I don't know."

"Stop lying."

"Steve, I don't think-" I cut in.

"I only act like I know everything, Rogers."

"I bet you knew Fury hired those pirates, didn't you?"

"Well, it makes sense. The ship was dirty, Fury needed a way in, so do you."

"I'm not gonna ask you again." He said, getting even closer to Natasha's face.

"Steve, stop. You don't need to get so aggressive." I said, pushing Steve back.

"I know who killed Fury." Natasha said. She took a pause, trying to find the right words to say.
