Minsitthar and Ishani stood before Guinevere's door, a meter apart since they had to uphold their statuses. They looked visibly concerned when a staff member told the family that she had to miss dinner to rest instead. Alicia and the queen didn't seem to mind, seemingly in cloud nine at how the first day of wedding planning went.

They claimed it went relatively smooth, with the young lady having only a few complaints. What surprised Minsitthar though, was when she claimed she was clearly invested on the details of her wedding.

Invested in her life sentence, more like.

Ishani knew better. Guinevere was invested in her escape.

Like a good fianceé, Minsitthar offered to bring her some food along with Ishani, to which the older ladies approved of. The prince clutched a tray of food for the young girl while Ishani took hold of the untensils. Curious enough, Ishani was promoted as Guinevere's handlady today which relieved the garden girl of her duties to the other parts of the palace. It seems that even the royal family noticed the two women's peculiar friendship.

Behind the door, Minsitthar could hear voices. But not just Guinevere's but two different men, bursting into boisterous laughter and sobbing occasionally. It was strange to say the least. Ishani never heard of the Lady laugh that happily the entire time she lived in the Mahar Pura Royal palace. She raised a brow at Minsitthar and gestured towards the door.

"Someone's in there with her."

"Knock, love."

"Doesn't she seem very happy?" Minsitthar remarked. "And there are men's voices inside her room, I think we shouldn-"

Ishani gave his lover a pointed glare. "Whatever it is she's happy about, we need to tell her of what we talked about last night."

"Isn't it rude? I feel like we are intruding."

"It wouldn't be intruding if we knock on her door and she welcomes us herself." Ishani reasoned.

"Fine," Minsitthar sighed, completely enamored by his woman. He raised a fist to knock on the premium hardwood door, letting the sound ring out. It was his idea in the firstplace, to deliver her dinner as a reason to talk to the girl. Ishani would be upset if he didn't have enough courage to push through his own plan.

"Shit!" Guinevere's voice hissed. There was the sound of quick shuffling and of light steps coming closer to the door. They assumed that it was the young lady herself, ready to open the door to them.

"Minsitthar? Ishani?" Guinevere curiously looked at the both of them. Her eyes trailed off the the tray of food and utensils in their hands. "Oh, please come in."

The young Baroque pushed her doors wide open for them to enter. Ishani gave a grateful nod as they welcomed themselves into her quarters. It looked grand, fitting for someone of her status. Oh, how lucky was Guinevere to only know the finer things in life.

"Oh, I didn't know someone already delivered you food." Minsitthar rose his brow at the pale-haired butler stading next to her bed with a tray.

The finch bowed respectfully at the Prince and placed his hand on his chest. "It was just some soup for her headache, my lord. I'm sure Lady Guinevere appreciates what you have brought her."

He cleared the the lounge table and helped the couple settle the food for Guinevere, as the lady herself watched in intrigue. Sensing the thickening atmosphere, she clicked her tongue and began asking questions. "How thoughtful of you to bring me food? When you both outright refused me."

Minsitthat trained his eyes on her and back to Ishani. His lover gave an affirming nod to him as he spoke. "Actually, we have something to discuss with you."
