24 Hours GF Challenge (Granevere AU)

Chapter Four

Alucard found Granger smiling.

Just the tiniest smile, slightly covered by his zipped up jacket. This made Alucard curious. Perhaps, something new he can tease Granger about? Alucard threw his slipper at the unassuming teen, with a sly smile on his face.

"What the fuck, Alu." Granger groaned as the slipper hit his face.

"Whatcha smiling about, hm?"

"Why? Am I not allowed to?" Granger retorted sassily, he instantly regretted it as another slipper slapped him in the face. "Ow!"

"I just remembered something funny!" The stoic boy defended. Best believe that no one is buying it.

"Dude, I'm just watching the stream! Stop abusing mee!" Granger whined. The others laughed at his expense.

"Hmm...what's in the stream that got you smiling like that then?" Claude teased further. "Caught your eye?"

Granger rolled his carmine red eyes and ignored them. He tried to distract himself with Guinevere's little excited 'pewboom!' in the stream.

"OH! You think she's cute?" Alucard wiggled his fingers. "Don't worry, we know she's hella cute."

"NO!"

Lesley flipped her hair and pointed to nothing in particular. "So, you think she's ugly?"

"I didn't say that."

"So she's cute?"

"No."

"Make it make sense, fucker." Chou chuckled at him.

"She's....average." Granger trailed off, looking for the right words to say. Average wasn't the right word to defend himself. He just looked like a judgmental fool.

Everyone snorted at that. Psh, Guinevere Baroque? Average? What a big fat lie.

"Bold of you to say that, handsome." Alucard teased the boy, blue eyes rolling at his pathetic excuse.

Their blonde manager suddenly stood up in excitement.

"AHA!"

Alucard raised his hands up in the air. It was as if a lightbulb lit up in his head. The others looked at the man as if he grew two heads. Nevertheless, they all looked at him to know what it's going to be about.

"Huh?" Gusion asked, looking confusedly at their manager.

Alucard placed his hand on Granger's shoulder. "Why won't you 1v1 Guinevere then?"

"Huh?" More huh's were heard from the room. Granger was staring at him in disbelief.

"Alu, please no–"

"Just a 1v1, man." Alucard persuaded the boy. "Besides, it'll be good for Top Tier Ent. Imagine this, okay? Guin is a new addition to the company-to the gaming world! She needs some exposure."

"The girl has 13 million subs, I doubt she needs exposure." Granger pointed. Everything she would touch, would turn to gold.

"Stop being kj, Granger" Claude rolled his eyes so deep, they almost thought that it would roll all the way to the back of his head.

"Yeah but that's because of being a beauty guru." Alucard argued calmly. "DUDE-James Charles collaborated with PewDiePie and some other gamers."

"I think it's going to be good." Gusion laughed, slowly inching towards Lesley. "Don't you think so, Les?"

"Uh-huh." Lesley hummed in agreement. "Do it, Granger. It's just a 1v1."

"Fine." Granger surrendered. "What do I get though?"

"A bonus, obviously."

"LETS PUT A TWIST ON IT!" Chou, stood up. He looked ready to pour his ideas on the table. The crew looked at the excited asian.

"Why don't we do a '24 Hours GF Challenge'? It's trending like crazy on youtube."

"Okay, stop right there–"

Sounds of agreement echoed in the room. It was obvious that the lot of them liked the idea. The taller boy on the other hand, felt like he was being sold off to the devil. Granger shook his head. "I only agreed to a 1v1. Why me?"

"I already did that with Selena." Chou laughed lightly at the memory of the video. "She wasn't too happy."

"Maybe because you gave here the creepy-jeebies, Chou." Lesley retorted at the painfully awkward video. She would admit that it was extremely funny, though.

"This bonus better be fat." Granger said half-serious, half-kidding towards Alucard.

"Count on it, man."

1 week later

Lesley positioned the cameras, ready for Alucard to film another video. However, for this vlog they will be having a special guest.

"So today! We will attempt to give Granger his true love through a 1v1. She's a little new in the gaming world, so she's a little cute and confused. Perfect for my man! Granger."

Granger just laughed and rolled his eyes at Alucard's antics. He decided to calm himself down. He doesn't know how it would go down, but Alucard is a man of fuckery so he expects the worst.

"We're going to call her up, see if she's busy–ya know being thoughtful to the ladies–and perhaps set up a little bet with her and Granger. So let's go!"

Alucard rang up Guinevere after getting her number from Lunox. Alucard and Guinevere already talked about a collab and decided to go through with it. She was excited as she always watched Alucard and his team just troll around in ML but still win. Guinevere has deep respect for the man.

"Hello?" A soft voice answered. Granger kissed his teeth to suppress a forming smile. It's no use anyway, everything's on camera to be seen.

"Hi Guin! It's me, Alucard."

"Hi Mister Alucard! Can I help you?"

Granger laughed. What's the formality about Alucard? I guess they got too used with Alu that they didn't mind the formalities anymore.

"Guin, can you help my friend over here to find love?"

Guinevere laughed over the phone.Her laugh was surprisingly soft and proper, like how rich ladies would laugh and cover their faces behind their fans. Granger thought that it was so unlike her in the stream.

"Sure, Mr. Alucard! How can I help?"

"I want to make a deal with you, Guin. What can you say about 1v1 with my friend, Granger?"

"Hmm... what's in it for me?" Guinevere teased.

"We're going to give you skins. Any skin you want. Three epic skins? Does that sound good?"

"Uh-huh"

Guinevere was bat-shit rich. Granger thought that she doesn't even need to 1v1 anyone to get skins. She can get it herself. He shrugged, she agreed to the terms anyway.

"Two rounds. If Granger wins the first round, he gets to videochat you after your stream. And if Granger still wins the second round, you're going to do a 24 hours GF challenge? Is that cool?"

Guinevere laughed albeit awkwardly. It took a few moments before she can be heard from again. "Sure, Mr. Alucard! But my brother would be supervising."
