The next morning, the White Knight entered Eutkey's halls wearing darker colors as opposed to the sharply colored Elite Knight uniform to show commonality. He was accompanied by Sir Owen, Henry, and Lord Alistair.

King Eleon welcomed the company. He motioned to where the witnesses should stand. Once everyone had found their place, he began, "Sir Aiden, take a knee."

Kneeling before the King, Aiden bowed his head. "I swear fealty to our ruler, King Eleon of Eutkey. To serve as warden of his city, the land of Rathorn. For as long as I live and that I can bear it. Forsake and pillage, I will not. In all my power, I will keep the peace in this placid land." said Aiden knelt on the ground.

The King smiled. He waved at the squires to hand him an iron coronet. With his hands slightly unsteady, he placed it on Aiden's bowing head. "I officially endow your lordship. Rise now, Lord Aiden of Rathorn."

Aiden stood with his back straight and smiled. He looked over his shoulder and saw his proud father, friend and advisor. He noticed Alistair nodding at the King.

"Go now bask in your glory, young Lord. I must have a word with Lord Alistair." King Eleon said to Lord Aiden and only to Lord Aiden.

Walking down the steps, Aiden went near his father. Then glanced at Lord Alistair.

King Eleon and Lord Alistair walked toward a corner of the hall.

"They travel there to Rathorn today?" questioned Alistair.

The King nodded. "We should discuss this more discretely. Let us proceed to the council room." King Eleon started pacing to an entrance that led to a spiral of stairs.

"Sir Owen. Lord Aiden." Alistair tilted his head, signaling for them to follow. "You too, Henry."

The company had gone up a level and soon entered a room made of refined stone, with opaque glass windows to allow the right amount of light into the room. There was a rectangular table at the center with four seats on the lengthier sides and one seat at each end. At one elbow of the room, there were shelves filled with scrolls, small boxes, and old maps.

"Please have a seat," said King Eleon as he stood beside the chair closest to the sun-lit windows.

Lord Aiden and Henry sat on chairs to his left while Sir Owen and Lord Alistair sat on his right.

"Do any of you know about the path less traveled?" The King glanced at Lord Alistair.

"There are, in fact, many paths that are less traveled. But I believe you are talking about one which requires an enchanted rune to find," Lord Alistair replied.

Owen quirked his brow. "You've only ever sent me on one quest that required an enchanted rune."

The sorcerer smiled. "I remember. But yes, it seems the route Lord Aiden and Henry have to take is a path less traveled. Which shelf do you keep the runes again, your highness?"
