The armies arrived and set up camp. The northern army with blue banners, the west bearing a dark yellow hue, the east with red, and the south with silver tents. Battle tactics were discussed amongst the four councils.
"Olas Peak is the only mountain standing between us and the dark forces now. At dawn tomorrow, they'll be making their way around the mountain. The Western army will take the griffins, observe their movement, and guide us in our attack. The East, North, and Southern armies will wait here on the other side." Hector gestured on the map, positioning the wooden pieces.
"Aiden with the Sword of Light and the White Fairy will join the Northern army, our cavalry. As the dark sky moves closer, the dark creatures grow stronger. It will be wise of us not to linger if the darkness gets too close," continued Hector.
"How do we stop the dark sky from spreading even if we defeat the dark forces?" said an Eastern Commander, impatiently.
"We have the power of the star, it will be enough to stop it," assured Hector.
The commander didn't seem to like his answer.
"We move out before dawn," said Owen.
Aiden's ears had gone red. He'd been practicing with the sword, wielding it without fainting but had no idea how to stop the dark sky from spreading. It was a cloud no sunlight nor moonlight could shine through.

At the gazebo after the meeting, Aiden sought advice from Lôra.
"What are we going to do about the dark sky?"
"Only you can unlock the true power of the star," said Lôra dismissively.
"That's not an answer to my question ... How-how do I, how did your people hold the barrier?"
"Each of us had to project our power to create it; as long as we lived, the barrier would remain. Now that everyone else is gone. My power isn't strong enough to hold it," replied Lôra, ignoring him.
"But your power came from a star ... can't you use this one?" said Aiden, handing her the sword.
"I don't think a single White Fairy is meant to have all that power, and that sword is already bound to you," Lôra said at once, looking at Aiden furiously.
"And I'm supposed to be able to use the full power of the star?" objected Aiden, gripping the top rail of the gazebo.
"Aiden, I–'m not..." Lôra's face softened as she saw the weariness in his eyes. "I don't even know how to manipulate the power of the star...Like I said, it's never been done before. The power of the white fairies worked together as one, we never held it alone."
