It was the dawn of the fourth day since the burning of the pyres when the raven master read aloud a message to the gathered knights. "May I have your attention, good knights of Elite! A message from King Eleon! Elite Knights of the Northern Castle, you are all invited to attend the awarding ceremony in Eutkey. Join us at the great hall, let us celebrate our victory as one kingdom. The battle against the dark creatures was won by the efforts of both the Elite and man and many others. Come all heroes of war."

Aiden was on the balcony between the arced staircases. He looked down at Henry, who shot his gaze downwards. Quickly making his way down the flight of stairs, he stopped Henry from walking away. "You should come with us."

"Aiden, I'm not an Elite Knight."

"Not officially." Aiden stepped sideways, blocking Henry's path. "But you fought with us. You deserve to come."

Henry looked to the side, then back to Aiden.

"I'll vouch for you," Aiden said optimistically. "You're a war hero just like everyone else who fought in the battle." Aiden placed his hand on Henry's shoulder.

Meeting Aiden's gaze, Henry looked up. "Alright."

Aiden patted his back. "I can lend you some of my formal clothes."

"You're too kind," Henry replied, smiling.

Eutkey's keep was decorated with the many banners of the different kingdoms. Flowers as tokens were scattered around the cobblestone path leading up to the great hall.

All the Elite Knights attended. The squires were left in the castle grounds, the oldest in charge being Tristan.

Ceremonies were well on their way when the company of the Northern Elite passed through the city gates. Promotions and change of rank were awarded to the knights of man by Hue, Eutkey's Knight Protector.

After the formal ceremonies, a great feast that was prepared had begun service, and King Eleon gave a brief message. "Fortune has favored the light. By the efforts of man and Elite, we've won the battle against darkness. By the stars, all kingdoms still remain."

The crowd of men cheered.

"But we must not forget the efforts of our allies. The mages." King Eleon motioned to Moira and her mages.

The mages bowed and received applause and praise.

"A Dragonlord ... and a werewolf."

The crowd broke into whispers.

Henry kept his head low.

"Our victory was made possible by them." King Eleon raised his chalice.
